So my rule… Division series, you must use four starters that are only eligible to pitch in those four games. And then anything goes in Game 5.
-
How about Ok Boomer is so three years ago, and it’s unfunny?
-
If this game gets called, I don’t want McCullers available tomorrow.

Ha! I don’t know, man! Looks pretty rough all afternoon. They may be there all day and night to get a window here and there. A rule I would like- division series, you have to use four different starters the first four games. No short rest. No opener bullshit. But I digress… Go Sox!!

Must be fun being a Giants fan.
-
Highly doubt they go 83s. Give me the full home whites. If they’re trying to recreate the blackout game, go all the way with it.
-
I’m seeing Pasqua drop a routine throw in the 93 playoffs. Don’t do that, Gavin.

Abreu is dh if he plays
-
I guess. The Astros have seen both. I think the only question is...is he playing defense?
-
The Sox have two lineups, and will submit the final one after Abreu takes hacks. per Tony

Altuve, Brantley, Bregman, Alvarez, Gurriel, Correa, Tucker, Meyers, Maldonado

Tony and TA are supposed to speak soon according to Merkin

Pretty sure the Astros have the field now. DVS says the Sox workout later this afternoon.
-
They have a workout in Houston today, and I’m sure they’ll have zoom calls. We’ll find out soon enough, mmkay?

Going to be a lot of baseball fans rooting for a Rays-White Sox ALCS. If it’s Astros-Red Sox, hard pass.
-
If a Sox player does anything like that during the playoffs, I will lose it.

Yes, he would have been 101 in December. This thread is almost two years old. He had a podcast too. Not sure if you can listen to them here... https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-golden-age-of-baseball-with-eddie-robinson/id1535227249?i=1000494175588
