  1. QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Aug 9, 2009 -> 11:40 AM) Anyone have login details that they wouldn't mind sharing? +1 PM?
  2. Hudson is starting today. Today..Indianapolis. Friday...Oakland?
  3. I hope Morel sticks with the Sox organization. He's a had a very solid season, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do in Birmingham next year.
  4. Lucas Harrell was placed on the DL. There's the spot for Hudson to replace him.
  5. I don't think it's anything to excited about until he's actually traded or given to the Sox. We have no idea what the motive behind this is yet.
  6. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Aug 7, 2009 -> 08:55 PM) Jayson Nix is NOT a good defensive player. He's not a major league starting player, that's for sure.
  7. If they do pick up that contract, you can pretty much say goodbye to Dye and Thome I would think.
  8. When Jordan Danks slumps, he really slumps.
  9. Birmingham: http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...47&sid=t247 Bristol night game: http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...57&sid=t557
  10. All that talk of Wes Whisler being a candidate to come up for a spot start went out the window tonight.
  11. Couldn't happen to a better guy.
  12. QUOTE (tommy @ Aug 7, 2009 -> 11:12 AM) Article on the official website says if everything goes right, he would pitch the opener of the Yankees series @ NY, August 28. 8 starts, if needed. 8-28 at NY 9-2 at Min 9-7 vs Bos 9-13 at LAA 9-18 vs KC 9-23 vs Min 9-28 at Cle 10-4 at Det
  13. Shouldn't Freddy be working his way UP?
  14. QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Aug 6, 2009 -> 10:06 AM) Is that your prediction or did you hear something? Prediction, but it sounds like his first rehab start may be next Thursday (8/13). If he pitches on the 13th, 18th, and 23rd, then maybe it'll be August 28. Either way, the Yankees series seems like a safe bet.
  15. Hudson could be starting in Indianapolis on Sunday.
  16. Charlotte off Birmingham: Johnnie Lowe's AA debut. http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...47&sid=t247 Winston-Salem PPD Kannapolis: http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...87&sid=t487 Bristol PPD Great Falls: http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...81&sid=t581
  17. Listening to Hudson on the postgame show. He sounds like a teenager, but he's poised. Bloom didn't ask him about the possibility of going to the Sox. Only that he may start the first game of the playoffs for the Barons. It would be quite a story if he goes from Kannapolis to Chicago in the same season.
  18. QUOTE (JohnStamos @ Aug 4, 2009 -> 09:35 PM) You planning on using a 4 man rotation? I'd bring up Torres too, and then put him in the bullpen when Peavy is ready.
  19. Daniel Hudson moves to 7-0 with a 1.60 ERA at Birmingham. Thanks for the memories, Jose. Your time is up.
  20. 28 inning scoreless streak for Hudson. Hudson is done. Lujan warming up.
  21. Huddy- 5 inn, 3 hits, 1 walk, 6 ks 79 pitches. 57 strikes.
  22. QUOTE (chisoxfan09 @ Aug 4, 2009 -> 08:14 PM) Is there a plan to bring him up? I had not seen that. Not necessarily a plan, but Rick Hahn mentioned him as a possible starter until Peavy is ready. If he pitches Saturday, it'll be on three days rest, so he probably wouldn't go 6-7 innings tonight. ...Just thinking--maybe they'll pitch Contreras on Saturday since he only went 66 pitches tonight, and the 5th starter will go Sunday. I'd just prefer Contreras get his walking papers.
