Real talk--Hoffman, Guerrero, Chipper, and Thome are getting in. Vizquel will get closer than a lot of people will believe. Edgar Martinez will get close, but fall short. This might be the year Sosa fall offs. Damon will be one and done. Next year Rivera, Halladay, Helton, Berkman, Oswalt, and Pettitte will join the ballot and we'll do this again.

For me, the 3rd season of Curb was the best. 4th, not too far behind. I got to watch the new season last weekend...pret-tay good.

Beltran has a few things going for him- switch hitter, era he played (his average 162 games from age 22 to 36 was really good), and postseason success. I’m not saying he’s a no-brainer, but he’s over the line for me.
