Hopefully it's down to Houston and Pittsburgh, and the Sox are just waiting for one of them to say the right thing. I'd still be shocked if Meadows is even being discussed, but we'll see.

Hopefully the Sox are using the Pirates for leverage and they'll find a trade with the Astros they can be happy making.

The whole point of trading McCutchen is to make room for Meadows soon. I just don't think he's in the conversation. The Pirates would move on to other possibilities.
