  1. Phillies won. Angels are leading. Just sayin'.
  2. Sox nominee for the Roberto Clemente Award.
  3. Angels and Phillies won today, so that's good.
  4. QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 1, 2016 -> 10:29 AM) Interleague AL 152 NL 122 DH in both leagues please. And now the Indians swept the Marlins. 155-122
  5. Get ready for the 14-13 Bears-Vikings tweets with Kahnle in.
  6. I hate the September call up system. f***ing bulls*** in today's game.
  7. The fans behind the plate are funny.
  8. Of course he walks the lead off man. What else is he supposed to do?
  9. Timmy is fun to watch. More of that.
  10. Ok, end this. Hawk has birthday cake in Granger to get to.
  11. QUOTE (Insp @ Sep 4, 2016 -> 04:46 PM) WHEW! Dig the sarcasm.
  12. I'd be interested to see where the Sox rank in division road games over the last five years. I'm guessing last.
  13. For a guy who sucks, Avi has his moments.
  14. Alexei Ramirez released. Nice 9-yr career. Good chunk of change.
  15. Unless a rainout doesn't get made up, they'd literally have to be 5 games worse than the Phillies the final 27 games. I mean, if you want the Sox to go 7-20 the rest of the way for an outside chance, then maybe they crack the top 10. The Sox are well over 90% to finish 11th or 12th. Just not in the cards for a top 10 this year. Probably the Sox best bet for 10th is if the Angels are 4 games better than the Sox the rest of the way. Angels 15-12 White Sox 11-16 That would give the Sox the 10th pick.
  16. Hawk should drop a, "In my three quarters of a century in baseball..." today. And then inevitably say something wrong and irrelevant.
  17. The Sox have the worst record in baseball since the 23-10 start. Ventura is Houdini. http://www.baseball-reference.com/games/st...date=2016-05-09
  18. Ranaudo vs Albers Happy 75th, Hawk Harrelson
  19. QUOTE (flavum @ May 3, 2016 -> 10:06 PM) Since 1961: 2005- 20-7, 99-63 2016- 19-8 1965- 19-8, 95-67 1967- 19-8, 89-73 2006- 19-8, 90-72 1964- 18-9, 98-64 1973- 18-9, 77-85 1982- 18-9, 87-75 1963- 17-10, 94-68 1972- 17-10, 87-67 (strike shortened) 1977- 17-10, 90-72 1990- 17-10, 94-68 1992- 17-10, 86-76 2000- 17-10, 95-67 2002- 17-10, 81-81 2004- 17-10, 83-79 Thanks to the 2016 White Sox, they've pretty much ruined hot starts forever. Any hot start now will inevitably bring, "Remember 2016....23-10, then terrible the rest of the year." Every 27 this year: 19-8 10-17 12-15 11-16 12-15 27 left. Another 12-15 would surpass 1973's quick descent to awfulness.
  20. Shields ERA in a Sox uniform is 7.50. Go home, James.
  21. If there were a mercy rule, mercy.
