Just terrible. I guess it's a good thing that it wasn't in the eye, and the season is almost over. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and is ready to go in February.
Pedro also did it with 217 innings. I love Chris Sale, don't get me wrong. But at 180-185 innings (if he gets there), it becomes a little asterisk-worthy.

Nice last two games with the core guys performing well....now stop winning
I think 8-8 will keep them in the top 10, and since I predicted 74-88 before the season started, I'd take that.

Yeah, Sale isn't enough above Felix in performance to make up for the 50+ IP difference. Getting his ERA under 2 might sway some voters though.
I hope Sale makes 32 starts next year for a winning team. The Cy will be more satisfying for him and the fans.
First time this season the Sox put up six straight quality starts. 1-4 in those games so far....unfortunately the opposing starter also has quality starts in all six.

MB56 needs to average 6 IP over his final three starts to reach 200 for the 14th consecutive season. He's the freakin' Mohican.
I noticed that too. He needs two wins for 200, and will face the Orioles, Yankees, and Mariners. So he better beat the Orioles and Mariners.
