Could get crazy the last week, and the Sox are going to be in prime position to spoil.

I feel sorry for EJ.
Yeah, I'm sure everyone involved besides the Tigers would like a mulligan.
Awful game.
29 pitches. Hawk is right--one pitch can change an entire game.
That ump is probably going to find out he blew it and feel bad about it. Or he should.
That said, Cubs up 5-0 in Cinci.
Can't complain too much about the schedule. They better start praying for good April weather now. A lot of home dates, plus Colorado and Detroit.
18 home games in August. If the Sox find a way to be a good team next year, they'll need a good August again.

Sale is at 113 pitches through 8, but screw it, I'd like him at least start the 9th. He is already on 6-7 day rest each start, and has 6 Ks over the past 3 innings.
Not happening.

I remember when they had that consecutive sellout streak going at the jake. What happened to end that?
Maybe not directly, but the Browns coming back to Cleveland took away entertainment dollars from the Indians.
I want the Sox to lose, but I also want the AL wildcard to get as close as possible. So I'm glad they won.
I'm also happy the Reds just won too. The NL Central race could be great the last week.
