  1. Our new division: Sox 50-44 - Bal 49-44 0.5 Oak 49-44 0.5 TB 49-45 1.0 Bos 48-46 2.0 Cle 47-46 2.5 Tor 46-47 3.5
  2. QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ Jul 21, 2012 -> 02:47 PM) why is that not true and the other story is? Baseball-wise, it's a good move. He's had one incident, disputed at that, I'm not going to judge the guy. Unless you count this... http://www.bugsandcranks.com/philadelphia-...es-at-reporter/
  3. Holy crap. I called Heidenreich.
  4. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jul 21, 2012 -> 02:15 PM) Rosenthal is about as good as it gets in baseball. I couldn't care less if CSN says the Sox haven't confirmed it. Somebody tweeted that Myers father told him his son got traded to the White Sox. It's happening.
  5. I'll guess Andy Wilkins and Matt Heidenreich. (no way I guess right)
  6. I think we just got him. Twitter buzz. Don't like him.
  7. Floyd is starting Monday. I assume Axelrod will go to the pen, and Veal or Septimo go back to Charlotte.
  8. Victory lap for Adam Scott tomorrow.
  9. Sale, Quintana, and Reed. Too good and cheap to trade. Everyone else in the right deal.
  10. Morel 0-2 as DH. Carlos Sanchez 4-5.
  11. Enjoy tonight. This could be the last we see first place. Man that would suck.
  12. Charlotte- Castro http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?s...chraaa_bufaaa_1 Birmingham- Rienzo (left after 2 batters/leg injury of some sort fielding a bunt) http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?s...monaax_biraax_1 Winston-Salem- Bassit (Keenyn Walker took Bundy deep) http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?s...frdafa_wswafa_1 Kannapolis- Lane http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?s...crdafx_kanafx_1 Bristol- Cose http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?s...pulrok_brirok_1 Great Falls- Parrent http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?s...ogdrok_grfrok_1
  13. Floyd threw on the side, and is expected back Monday. It's time for a 5-man rotation for the rest of the season. Peavy Sale Humber Floyd Quintana If a trade replaces Floyd, and Danks replaces Humber, that's good. But we need Peavy, Sale, and Quintana pitching 3 of every 5 games the last 70.
  14. Just win tonight so I don't have to sweat about a sweep tomorrow or Sunday. That's all.
  15. I don't know what to think about this race. Talk to me in 10 days.
  16. Eh, Heidenreich actually settled down after the 1st inning.
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 09:27 PM) What's the update on Lilly? Did he get DFA'd? I'd think we'd pick him up. He's not a bad bench guy in a White Sox uniform. Long swing, though. Must revamp his offensive game again. God is still deciding where he'll play next.
  18. Trying not to go to the dark side, but it's going to be interesting to see which teams make major moves at the end of July only to regret them two weeks later. I'm really hoping the Sox aren't one of them.
  19. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 08:46 PM) Christ. I'm out of here. Check in 10 minutes. This was my post upon seeing Thornton start the inning. Just checked back. Not surprised.
  20. If Quintana was at 90 pitches, I'd say leave him in. At 103 pitches, and stressful innings, I'd go Reed this time.
  21. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 07:56 PM) Did I mention Beckham has 0 hits in 5 straight games? Not going to be shocked if he isn't on the Sox in 2 weeks.
