  3. Oh darn, I forgot to vote. Enjoy your family for four days, Jake.
  4. Nice start for Buehrle today. 7.2 innings, 0 runs, 0 bb, 8 k. 8-8, 3.25 ERA at the break.
  5. Those stats are great, and what makes this team so much fun to watch. Something we haven't seen in those situations for the last several years.
  6. The streaky first half review: 10-6 7-15 (17-21) 14-2 (31-23) 5-11 (36-34) 8-3 (44-37) How about a nice, consistent, 48-33 second half, 92 wins, and kick ass in October?
  7. Sunday will probably be Axelrod, but seriously, why wasn't it Axelrod on Tuesday and Sale last night? It's not like they didn't know Sale was making the All Star team. Not complaining because they won both games, but Axelrod would have been on regular rest Tuesday. So now it will be Axelrod on short rest, probably for 4 innings, Heath for 2, and then hope we have a fresh Jones, Thornton, and Reed.
  8. After 81: Sox 44-37 Cle 42-39 Det 39-42 5 up on Detroit at the mid-way point. Love it. Still waiting for the Indians to fall back.
  9. Tigers lose. 39-42 at the half way point.
  10. Mauer homer. 8-6 Twins That Twins offense isn't a pushover at all.
  11. So we have Rafael Palmeiro's kid? Don't do drugs.
  12. Indians won. Tigers going to the 9th, trailing 7-6. And it will be the bottom of their order.
  13. Sounds like Crain is hurting. Expect a DL trip. Edit: Duente Heath is probably catching a plane from Atlanta tomorrow morning.
  14. You have to pitch 9 innings to get credit for a shutout, so there's that.
  15. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 3, 2012 -> 09:37 PM) Which position player gets the call tonight? Will Ohman is available.
  16. I would assume that's it for Sale. Going to KC with a 2.11 ERA. Nice first half, young man. edit: chrissake
  17. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Jul 3, 2012 -> 09:31 PM) There's no way this ends well tomorrow. Axelrod-Feldman I'll say 9-7 one way or the other.
  18. When Verlander doesn't start, the average Tigers start is 5.1 innings with a 4.86 ERA. They'll be looking for pitching.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 3, 2012 -> 09:16 PM) Ugh, get Sale out! No s***. Omogrosso for 2, Santiago for 1. Done.
  20. That Charlotte game got suspended, so Leesman was only able to go 1 inning tonight. Sunday starter?

  22. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 3, 2012 -> 05:16 PM) @ChuckGarfien Kenny Williams on possible deals before the trade deadline: "There's always one more move to make. fap fap fap fap! He's been saying those words for over 10 years.
