I agree with Hawk. Every weakness that we had comin into this season has been strengthened thanks to the moves of Kenny Williams. I think the Alomar, Everett signing might be the moves of the year...As far as players go...It's Loaiza. Say what u want about our pitching staff...Bottom line is between Buehrle, Colon, And Garland their records combined is 32-33. Without Loaiza and his sterling numbers no telling where this team might be...

I agree with u. I didn't know a whole out about Cotts but I knew he had control problems. That's all I really needed to know. I think with guys like Prior, Willis, And Harden comin up right away and contributing most Sox fans wanted to think we had a guy who could do the same thing...I'm not at all tryin to diss Cotts. I just don't think he should be here right now...

It doesn't matter that the same thing coulda happened to Buehrle. The fact is that a manager is supposed to give his team a chance to win every time out. Jerry did not do that today...

Maybe if we hadn't been playing catch up all day long they coulda took a different approach to the gm....

I'm not sayin 2 of 3 is bad. But we totally whoop Ny 2 nights in a row. U know they have to be a lil demoralized. So instead of sending one of the best left handed pitchers in the game at them u throw a no strike throwing rookie out there? As I have said in other posts. U got a chance to sweep the Yanks u take it. Especially in ny. We coulda sent a big ass message to the entire f***in league. Cotts has a much better chance against the Tigers than he does the Yanks. And if we do lose to the Tigers we know it's cause Cotts was pitchin. I don't think anbody woulda b****ed about it...

That's a lil bit of good news. Hopefully it holds up and the Royals lose. That would release some of the rage I have towards f***in Manuel....

I'm sure they wanted to win badly last night after getting thumped 13-2...The Yanks r the Yanks. If they didn't wanna win every time out they wouldn't be who they are. Buehrle has been one of the best pitchers in baseball the last 3 months. If he says he feels fine then u go with him. End of story...

From what I hear Buehrle wanted to pitch and said he felt fine. If Buehrle doesn't feel good i'm sure he says so. So Manuel is a f***in idiot. I hate to say this. But he sometimes makes me wish that we don't win the division so we once and for all can get rid of this dumb motherf***er...

Cotts hasn't shut down anybody. He was fortunate to get outta a few jams and the Rangers not taking advantage of oppurtunities. But in no ways has he shut anybody down... An unproven rookie pitcher is just what the Yank-mees needed after getting clobbered twice on their home turf and Uncle Jerry kindly gave it to them. The real victim in this is Cotts. 1 minute he's starting, Then he's not, Now he's starting again. Jerry 100% set Cotts up to fail. No way should a rookie pitcher 'Who shouldn't be here in the 1st place" Who has major control problems shoulda got the mod when Buehrle said he felt fine and wanted to pitch. I'm not sayin i'm a baseball expert. But the fact that u can consistently question just about every move Manuel makes shows how f***in wack he is. Anything less than a world series apperance should result in Jerry getting fired....Period...
