Valderamma is super old, he is retired from international play too. Moreno isn't any good anymore with all the injuries he has. Marco is old too. The MLS needs some superstars, but that is doubtful to happen. I do agree that there are a few known players; Valderamma being most notable. The Americans here are just waiting to go overseas. Look at Reyna, O'Brien, Howard, Friedel, Keller, Kirvorksi (sp?), Lewis, and Sanneh. I hope the MLS becomes great, but it would take so much time.

I really can see them looking at a FA to play catcher. I think they would love Javy. He would add a bat to their lineup, and be able to play some catcher. IRod won't end up going there. I think they will end up with a middle trier catcher during the winter. Who knows, maybe Beano has a deal in the works for a catcher? I would have kept Ramon Hernandez though, but maybe that's just me and what seems everyone else on this site.
