I do not understand why everyone is saying Manny is waived. As Rex said, he was only put on irrevocable waivers. This is the only place I have read he was waived. Some people should read articles a little better. Also, wasn't Myers picked up by the Padres. I could have sworn it was the Pads who were stuck with him.

This trade rumor has been brought up so many times. One thing I would like to know, is who does ESPN consider good midlevel FA's. They had a thing in the insider with their 12 best midlevel FA's. I was wondering if anyone had that list.

I have been following Wagner's career since he was in high school and he should not play point guard. He is a natural scorer and when he is allowed to play 2 and just score he plays real well. Last year Cleveland tried to convert Wagner and it backfired as he really struggled. If a guy is a scorer you can't change that. It has been tried many times and never works. Lebron will be fine as a point guard once he has a little more experience, he is a good ball handler and has great vision. Problem is will he be able to play sg? He is coming off the bench then. Davis will play over him, aswell as Miles.

Wagner will play when he gets back. I think he should have stayed at Memphis last year, and maybe this year too. College would have done him well, but Cleveland will have a good young team in the future.

I know, that's why I a, saying you need to ask low for him. Last I heard, his suspension is going to be after he is healthy, which could be December.

On the front page of our student newspaper, there was some good jokes: What do you call two beautiful girls walking around at the U of M campus?... ...visitors. How do you get a former Wolverine to leave your front porch?... ...pay for the pizza. Go up to a Michigan fan, ask if they want to talk about the game, tell them it'll only take a second (I doubt anyone will get this one). Those were the best ones. There was some Michigan jokes making fun of MSU, but they weren't really funny (and I am not just saying that cause I am a State student, they really sucked from anyone's point of view). BTW, they still haven't gotten Sparty yet. He's our huge bronze statue and every year Michigan students try to throw Yellow (don't tell me Maze, it's yellow ) and Blue paint on him. Our band stays out all week, rain or shine, and makes sure no one gets him, so far they haven't but it's early. 17 is basically sure for both teams. It is going to be a shootout, both teams can score, and will.

One question I have is whether or not the Mariners are going to resign Hasegawa. I would love him or Hawkins, but I doubt we will get either. Wagner also has another thing going for him, he is a lefty. He was also dominant late this season.
