Indeed, I have returned. Glad to see someone noticed my abscence. I was kind of busy over summer and didn't have much time to be around here. However, I just got back to school last weekend and that probably means my time on Soxtalk will be going up. I don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. Lots of new faces around here and I look forward to seeing what everyone has to say about the sad state of this team. And of course I'm looking forward to seeing what all you old fools have to say as well.

Everyone already knows that Illinois State is Illinois' Team. But I expect/hope Illinois will be better this year, they can't be any worse. And any of you guys at Illinois' heard anything about Sinclair or Matha, whether they will serve any kind of a suspension or anything?

Kind of odd how this time last year, we sucked up until now and then started to get it going against the twins and cubs. It's just the opposite this year. Hopefully, the crosstown series will ignite some fire under this team's ass and these pitchers step it up...big time.

I voted D.C. The problem with moving the Expos to the AL West and moving Pitt to the NL East would be having an odd number of teams in each league. Baseball needs an even number of teams in each league to keep the schedule possible.

We just didn't have it tonight. In other news, why is Buehrle pitching tomorrow when he just pitched on Saturday, this isn't the playoffs. I don't agree with that decision at all.
