Miami wins, beats the spread and gets me a win! I can now return to cheering against Miami and Florida State equally for the rest of this year.

I hate both these teams. But, since I picked Miami I guess I'll be cheering for them tonight.

That's what we have the college football thread for. Unless it's a big game like Ohio St./Mich I don't see much need for them either. I'm definitely not starting any Ill-UCLA thread or ISU-Minnesota thread.

I'm gonna try my hardest to get a ride up there for one of the games, even if I have to skip a class or two.

They looked like crap in game 1. If the Marlins can win game 2, they'll move .5 game ahead of the Cubs in the WC.

I'm in, but I got class at 1 on Wednesday so if you could change the draft time that'd be great. If not it's fine.

I think this can go both ways people, Red Sox fans are portrayed as being whiny and annoying. However, think of how the media portrays us as maniacs who storm on the field. Obviously neither of these is totally true.

I watched today and was cheering for Vijay all along. I do think that golf needs Tiger to step up his game and be in contention more on Sundays. With that being said he still has that ridiculously long streak of making cuts. I just don't think it's good for golf when he dominates by so many strokes like he did in the past, which I don't think we will ever see from him again. Unless Tiger really steps up his game quickly and for a good length of time I think Vijay will be at the top for awhile. Vijay has just been dominant this year winning six times, including a major.

I was impressed with Illinois' dominant performance. I'm not gonna say much else, cause I don't really expect too much from them this year. Their offense is nothing to be worried about, but I think their defence has definitely improved from last year. They allowed 358 Yards and the only points FAMU scored were in the 4th against the reserves. Last year against ISU I think they gave up 500-some yards and 22 points. I was most impressed by WR turned CB Kelvin Hayden. 6 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 2 interceptions, including one for touchdown. This game showed promise but next week against UCLA will give a better idea of what type of team Illinois has this year.
