  1. Game Over. Beutjer fumbles. Illinois surprised me today by playing a respectable game against a tough Purdue team. Hopefully they'll be improving as the year progresses and be able to win a few games in the conference.
  2. Illinois will get one last chance for a miracle drive starting at their own 15 with less than a minute left.
  3. f***ing s***! Illinois blocks a punt but Purdue recovers it and gets a first down.
  4. Illinois has missed a couple of golden opportunities to start the second half. 31-23 Purdue
  5. What a game so far, another score for Illinois. 24-20 Purdue now, still 2 minutes to go in the first half.
  6. 17-13 Purdue Illinois staying in this game, need another stop on defense here cause Purdue gets the ball to start the second half.

Are you saying that he will be joining you two in your makeout session?
  8. 3rd and 20 and Purdue gets a first down. If only Illinois had any defense at all, they could contend in the weak Big Ten this year.
  9. Illinois fumbles on the first play Purdue recovers and Adeyemo is injured. :puke
  10. Rams Steelers Vikings Giants Falcons Bengals Eagles Titans Chiefs Broncos Colts Seahawks Buccaneers Redskins
  11. Ruddy was an awesome professor! I had him last year spring semester for Citizens and Governance. Got an A, easiest A ever!

  13. You have to be a star player to be one of the 50 greatest ever. Scottie wasn't even the star player on his team.
  14. Damn, looking at the title I thought this quote would have something to do with women waiting for him at the hotels. Oh well, next year is the year of The Willie Harris.
  15. The Hives-Tyrannasaurus Hives Didn't see it mentioned anywhere and just thought I'd throw it out there since it's relatively new.
  16. I could see him coaching in the future. I do not think he was one of the 50 greatest, however. Thanks for the memories and good luck.
  17. I tend to prefer music that is more experimental, I actually think Sandinista is right up there with London Calling. But the first Clash album is great as well, I love (White Man) In Hammersmith Palais. If you like energy and you haven't heard the song 1977 yet I suggest you do. Intense! I also watched the dvd and some of the stuff is from the documentary Westway to the World, but they throw some new things in with it. I enjoyed the home video footage of them recording, Guy Stevens is insane!
  18. Green Day's new album, American Idiot, came out today and I've listened to it in its entirety once. Sometimes it takes awhile for a new CD to grow on me, but this one clicked right away. The 9-minute plus track Jesus of Suburbia is the highlight for me. I've always liked Green Day but for some reason this is the first CD of theirs I've bought, I'll definitely be picking up more in the future. Also released today was the 25th anniversary of The Clash masterpiece London Calling with a second disc of demos and a dvd 3rd disc. If you don't own this album buy it now. A casual fan might be better off just buying the original London Calling without all the extra material. The second disc of demos is pretty rough, but Clash fans will find it interesting, and I haven't had a chance to watch the dvd yet. You also get a booklet of photos and stories with the 25th anniversary edition.
  19. We need some kind of contest to settle this debate. Hmmm...
  20. I have adopted the Dodgers as my NL team since it looks like Florida is falling out of contention. Last year I was cheering for Florida even before they played the Cubs. I guess I just like the teams that people overlook. My AL team is Oakland. But I don't really care, as long as it's not the Cubs or Yankees.
  21. Yes. The Seahawks are one of my 3 favorite teams in the NFL. I've always been a Bears fan and always will. I adopted the Seahawks last year after starting a dynasty in Madden with them. And I also like the Atlanta Mike Vicks for obvious reasons. Although, the Bears will always be number 1. 5-1 combined record so far...not bad at all. p.s. Trufant's a stud!
