So, do I have to pm Murcie with what I want it to say before I order a jersey?

I'm terrible at MM2004. My roommate just got it yesterday and I started a Dynasty with Illinois. I'm 2-2, won @ UIC & vs. W Illiniois and lost @ UNC & vs. Ill St. I'm playing on all-conference though because varsity is too easy. I don't find it fun unless I feel challenged.

Thanks guys. Very quick to act.
-
If it's possible I'd like my name to be changed from bones_r to The Bones. Thanks in advance.

Who said you could work on your own sig? Get back to work on all of ours!

New Strong Bad Email Figured I'd post it so everyone can enjoy it.

Very nice. I'm gonna have to get one before the upcoming season.

I did not live back then so I did not fully experience their careers. All I know is that from what I've heard I like John and George's stuff much better. All I can say to this is that not all of the best commercially selling albums are always the best musically. I know this is often the case. Paul's Boutique by the Beastie Boys is known by many as the Beastie Boys best album but it was their worst in a commercial sense. Pretty much the same for Rolling Stones-Exile on Main Street. I could mention others but the point I'm trying to make is that commercial success does not mean great music. Some of the best stuff could be stuff I haven't even heard yet.

But then we all wouldn't have been graced with his presence in the Sox minor leagues.

I was not trying to put down Eminem or anything. He is a great talent. It just seemed like you were questioning my knowledge in music history and I had to say something that I knew that you'd agree with to prove I'm not a complete idiot for saying the Beatles are overrated. My post that you were replying to was not worded very well. As far as the Beatles go, their later work and there contribution to music is obviously not in question. I'm not even questioning their earlier work right now. All I'm saying is that nobody, NOBODY, deserves to be worshiped like the Beatles were during Beatlemania and all that. Maybe it's because I did not live then, but c'mon they are just people like you and me.

Don't forget about the Spartans. Illinois has quietly won 4 of their last 5 games after losing 2 of their first 3 big ten games. I hope they can keep it up and stay in the race for the championship.
-
I don't want to alarm anyone but Northwestern is beating Wisconsin 36-19 at halftime in Evanston. I don't know if they can keep it up in the second half though.

I just came across this and wanted to clear myself up. I don't think that I articulated myself exactly the way I wanted to when I posted this. The Beatles of the early years, Ed Sullivan Show, Meet the Beatles, Beatlemania that's the type of s*** that was overrated. Nobody deserves that type of God-like worship other than God himself. However, I do give the Beatles credit for evolving into a good, okay great, band in their later years. Lennon was the f***ing man. I never liked, and still don't like, McCartney. Lennon and Harrison had much better solo careers than him and I enjoy listening to their music. All I was saying is that the only albums I considered for my top 5 were albums I'd only heard all the way through. I didn't say that I'd never heard a Beatles album. As for not knowing anything about music post-1950, I know that your boy Eminem would have never existed without the Beastie Boys, the pioneers for all these white punk/rapper type artists.
-
P.S. I only mentioned albums that I've heard all the way through and own. This is why I don't have any Bob Dylan albums listed, I only have his greatest hits cds. Same for the overrated Beatles, although I did like what I heard of Rubber Soul.

1549 asked what everyone thought were the best movies of all time. Now it's my turn to ask what the best albums of all time are in your opinion. I know Rolling Stone did this not too long ago but I want to hear people's thoughts on this. Top 5 or more if you'd like. My List 1.)London Calling-The Clash 2.)Paul's Boutique-Beastie Boys 3.)Let it Bleed-Rolling Stones 4.)Violent Femmes-Violent Femmes 5.)The Velvet Underground & Nico
-
My List 1.)Godfather (Part 2)...the two stories being told made it better than the first. 2.)Back to the Future (Part 1) 3.)The Shawshank Redemption 4.)Cast Away 5.)Pulp Fiction Worst Movie I've Ever Seen-Dumb and Dumberer

I'd like a sig with Kelly Wunsch in it when you get the time Cheat. Thanks in advance.

Um, shouldn't your doctor tell you what it is?
-
