How happy is ISIS today? The best PR guy in the world couldn't write propaganda this good.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 28, 2017 -> 02:52 PM) Honestly...Can they avoid going? Edit: Apparently having passports may not be enough. They're blocking dual-citizenship people from those countries as well. It's just a vacation so technically yeah, but they love going there so much I wouldn't bring up the topic to them. They're from Poland so that's one of the few countries that might actually be on the Donald's good side. Not even sure if they were allowed to keep that passport, have been US citizens as long as I can remember. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem as of now but we have no idea what other crazy ideas Bannon will force on Trump next.

My parents are going to Dubai in two weeks. While they are immigrants, they do have passports and are white so they should be fine coming back home. But who knows what can change in two weeks, they will have spent time in a Muslim country and they have accents.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 27, 2017 -> 07:46 AM) Best finals I could hope for. Gonna be so much fun Now we just have to somehow be awake at 2:30 AM the next two nights. I suck at watching sports on the DVR, I just can't help but find out who won.

Epic 5 setter going on between Nadal and Dimitrov, approaching 5 hours

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 27, 2017 -> 07:20 AM) Two huge flops back to back. Ugh. As of Tuesday afternoon, they had been 78-0-5 when leading after two periods. I guess they were due?

They went up 3-2 and I thought they finally had an answer for the Jets but it fell apart again. But they have a double digit point lead over the Blues, probably won't catch Minnesota, so this all just seems like the winter doldrums they get every year there is no lockout. At least I hope so. The young forwards have been better but the defense has been s***.

QUOTE (South Sider @ Jan 26, 2017 -> 04:57 PM) I dunno, if I ever get SRO tickets I try to find some seats that aren't being used. I went to one of the playoff games vs. the Blues last year and found a couple aisle seats center ice with no seats in front and luckily enough they were never claimed. We are the people you hate, ha. Our seats are in 3 and 4, the guys on the aisle miss several games a year, we always just move over to gain some elbow room.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 21, 2017 -> 01:27 PM) Not really at all. Its much more cardio focused with rowers, treadmills and weights and instead of pushing you to the point of injury they use a HR monitor to keep you in the correct zones. Half of the class is usually run or run/row while the other is floor work with weights and TRX. I'm really tempted to try it. I'm sure it's a much better workout than what I do solo and they have 5 AM classes which is when I go anyway. But two classes cost more than my monthly membership now, makes it hard to pull the trigger.

Is there any way to veto or reverse an executive order? Do Congress or the Supreme Court have any power against them? The orders seem to override everything we learned about checks and balances as kids.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 26, 2017 -> 10:06 AM) How come Anonymous or others can't hack into his files and release his taxes. He's probably dumb enough to have it on an unsecure personal laptop. I'm surprised there never was an IRS whistleblower who released them. Now it's probably too late for that though.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 26, 2017 -> 12:34 AM) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-...76c1610?ref=yfp The danger of arguing why Saudia Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan and UAE aren't being included in the immigration ban. The real question is, why isn't France included in the immigration ban? A high percentage of recent terrorists in Western Europe were French citizens. And Belgian citizens for that matter, buh-bye Belgium.

Slip the Indians' best players PEDs right before their scheduled drug tests. Then you got a chance... -
It's awesome how much the Williams sisters are still genuinely excited about winning. Watching the 5th set between the Swiss guys, crowd is all Roger.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Jan 25, 2017 -> 02:37 PM) Why did they stay home? Because of the false narratives about HRC that were pushed by the GOP and the far left. This isn't a controversial statement if anyone but me were making it haha We can all come up with theories (and I have had many) but the truth is that they stayed home because they always stay home. Voter turnout in presidential elections has been consistently under 60% for the last 100 years. It briefly rose slightly over 60 during the Vietnam War, but that's it.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 25, 2017 -> 11:49 AM) Patriots get a lot of s*** and people seem generally hate them, but it really is amazing what they have been able to do. It would be amazing in the pre free agency days. Let alone now. Being a Packers fan and seeing how difficult it has been for them to get back to the Super Bowl even with Aaron Rodgers. I couldn't imagine a team going 7 times in recent years. Every move they make is calculated. They don't concern themselves with loyalty and opinion of the rest of the league. If you want more money then they are offering? Good bye. Collins clashed with the coaches, and they shipped to Cleveland for a draft pick even though he still could play. They have also had lots of success with guys like Blount who may have been black listed by the rest of the league for off the field stuff. But most importantly, they have mastered the art of the white wide receiver.

I'm no expert but I do read a little about ISIS and Islamic terrorism. I'm pretty sure Iran is fairly low on the list of countries you have to worry about. I bet France is more dangerous in that regard. Banning them is strictly a f*** you foreign policy move.

Lucic is a great story but it really seemed like Pliskova got screwed over by that injury timeout. Up 4-3 in the third, she lost 12 of the next 13 without a single good shot it seemed. We keep hearing about Federer -Nadal, gives me the feeling that Wawrinka might get the win tonight.
