  1. Well, I think we keep Getz and Ozuna, as Ozuna can play pretty much anywhere. Richar and Uribe could be in a package together with better guys, as Richar still has potential so many GMs may look at him as a good prospect still. Keep Getz, just because if Beckham doesn't progress due to inability or injury, we have insurance.
  2. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 09:35 PM) I really don't even know what to say. I can't even fathom how you got that I think Kobe is better than Jordan. Maybe from your "I hate to defend Kobe here" statement.
  3. Voted for the Sox, but who really cares? I'd rather have the ugliest fans and win than the hottest and lose. Just like I'd rather have the least attendance (Marlins, Rays) and win then the most and lose (Cubs-over the years-, Yankees-this year).
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 03:57 PM) I can't wait for the day that Zambrano suffers a season-ending injury due to his stupid antics. That line drive off the bat of Ethier has "broken eye socket" written all over it, except that emotional douche caught it.
  5. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 08:35 PM) Why did you just read the first line of the post? But then to come in and argue for Kobe being better than MJ, and then say he's the 6th greatest ever, it's like it doesn't belong here.
  6. Need to have a good road record- just take 2005 for example.
  7. Post in my WHITE SOX WINNER thread. I've made every one on the winning streak, no jinxes!
  8. QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 08:43 PM) Crede wants to accompany Carlos to the All-Star Game. AJ deserves a spot on the team, as does Line.
  9. QUOTE (tommy @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 07:11 PM) Delmon Young with a solo shot. Mark needs to forget about it and move on.
  10. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 04:47 PM) Yes, that's exactly what I was saying. Good job. Well, you did say that "you hate to back up Kobe" so I figured that was your argument for him being better than MJ was.
  11. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 05:32 PM) lol no kidding they said the horse was "an intellectual horse" off to the glue factory They will probably sell it for $30 million to be a stud. I'm glad it lost. Granted, it's a "good" one, I guess, but Dutrow is a major douche.
  12. QUOTE (tommy @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 08:02 PM) 1-2-3 inning for MARK, does anyone know what's his pitch count? cbssportsline.com gamecenter says 71 Friend at game says 69
  13. I'm liking the better swings lately by PK and Swish, despite the last AB.
  14. QUOTE (tommy @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 05:41 PM) Zambrano got knocked around pretty good today, KEMP anyone? He was throwing coolers around in the dogout after 7th inning in LA. God, do I hate him. What a crybaby b****.
  15. http://www.teamstore.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1906634 Not exactly bedding, but just somethin'. Hope it helps!
  16. So what you're saying is that because Kobe works the hardest of maybe anybody in the history of the game, and he's 24th in scoring, he's better then MJ? Scoring doesn't automatically make you better then 1 guy.
  17. QUOTE (WCSox @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 02:53 PM) The one prediction I'll make is that neither team will sweep either of the two series. Sox/Cubs is almost always very competitive. The Cubs swept us in The Cell last year.
  18. QUOTE (AWhiteSoxinNJ @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 02:00 PM) and thank god they traded Santana and Hunter, and thank god Liriano got hurt. Fixed.
  19. QUOTE (Chet Lemon @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 03:14 PM) Hitters have a .339 BA against Livan this season. Not the Sox. He was like Bob Gibson against us last time out.
  20. QUOTE (JFields27 @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 02:01 PM) what was he doing? SportsFest, Autograph convention.
