QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ May 7, 2011 -> 11:11 PM) Win streak on the way...I'm all in. At this point, there isn't much more you can lose.

I think I'm going to write a book. Or at least talk about writing a book.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 09:07 PM) it would have to be 2nd top ten, Daley may be one dimensional, but he was top 10 when they fought. Hard to gauge Diaz without seeing him face a very good wrestler, but he's certainly top 10 in my book. Unfortunately looks like he will box next, so MMA will wait a little. I take it back. I keep forgetting that his chin will keep him in almost any fight. He's not the great stiker he's made out to be, however.

Going forward - I expect Rios to outperform De Aza, regardless of what he has done so far this season.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Apr 22, 2011 -> 10:06 AM) Laurence Holmes, especially the peoples hour. Me too. I voted other. I can't get behind Boers and Bernstein. They are far too judgmental. I stopped listening when they wouldn't lay off of Bob Probert, the day he died. I'm not even a huge hockey fan. I realize that he had made some choices that some people believe are bad. Those two think that having a drug problem and getting into some fights makes a guy a horrible monster who deserves death. -
It doesn't even matter what his skill set is. It will be better than Nick's.

Nick Diaz will lose to the first top ten fighter in his weight class that he faces.

The mods here would have banned him for that comment. -

Awesome. -
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I am actually starting to like this guy again. I think its because he was a bench player and is just a replacement. I wouldn't want him penciled in as a starter at the start of a year, but he is good to have around.
-
I laughed pretty hard at the end "From bat corking, to throwing baseballs at fans, to alcoholism, to running over trick-or-treaters with his car...." Probably not the reaction you were looking for, as you said its a sad story, but thanks.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 31, 2008 -> 04:04 PM) Crazy lineup tonite. Its nice to see someone who can hit behind thome. Guy walks too much without punishment. -
QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jul 31, 2008 -> 04:41 PM) I'd prefere Ozzie to go with 11 pitchers, then we could keep both Wise and Anderson up. Why? They will rarely play. And I mean rarely.
-
QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ Jul 31, 2008 -> 03:36 PM) Swish is 27(?) and has not had any previous leg injuries, saying Griffey is just as good as Swisher out there, well that's probably a fallacy, at least in terms of long-term production Who cares about long term production? I wasn't commenting on that. Griffey will be patrolling center for the rest of this year, that's it.
-
I wish there were an option like "I like it and I want him to play center." I'm not loving it, but why would I want him in right? He is probably every bit as good as swish is in center & swish is probably the better 1st baseman.

QUOTE (shawnhillegas @ Jul 30, 2008 -> 09:11 PM) I guess some of us are just too cool and stoic to get emotional about sports. I prefer the people that don't take themselves so seriously. I'm not cool or stoic. People who take every minor negative detail so seriously are what drive me nuts. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 30, 2008 -> 07:37 PM) Actually, it's cause Joe Cowley reported the Sox had some deals in mind that including Fields and Floyd. That's probably only true of some of the people who want/think he will be traded. -

QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Jul 30, 2008 -> 07:35 PM) Why do people keep talkingabout Floyd being traded? They are idiots who only care about the current trend in every player they evaluate. -
I hope i roid is furious.
