Rollins finally squares one up and hits it right at the pitcher.

Dozier was screwed the moment he double clutched.

I'd like to see a race between Albers and Dioner.

QUOTE (Black_Jack29 @ Apr 11, 2016 -> 05:43 PM) With the way that Albers has been throwing, I don't see how Robin could *not* leave him in against Mauer. You know how managers are. When they see lefty-lefty, they can't resist. Especially Robin.

Can we leave Albers in for Mauer? I know Duke is just going to walk him or give up a hit.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 11, 2016 -> 05:38 PM) Matt Albers can move for a fat guy. He's not fat, just big boned.

It feels so good to see Suzuki f*** up against us.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 11, 2016 -> 04:58 PM) lol, come on, no one actually said he was the second coming of Miguel Cabrera. People said his swing was similar to Cabrera, which is not the same thing. They called him Little Miggy didn't they?

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 11, 2016 -> 04:53 PM) Especially KNOWING he just led off Lawrie with a breaking ball strike. I COME ON THINK. Avi just seems like a low baseball IQ player. He should have been taking all the way there unless it was dead red outside fastball that he can drive. Considering that some people thought he was the second coming of Miggy when he was in Detroit, that's what makes it pretty funny.

God damn it Avi. He's such a conundrum. Showed great patience the last PA and got a walk. This time, goes after the first pitch and pops it up...

I can't believe this umpire is calling all these inside strikes and he couldn't bother to give Quintana that fourth ball to Sano.

I thought Frazier hit that one a lot farther than he did.

lmao that third pitch to Frazier looks half a foot inside on pitch trax.

QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Apr 11, 2016 -> 04:30 PM) Quintana is not as hard luck as everyone likes to make him out to be. He often causes these problems himself. He's not a perfect pitcher, no pitcher is. He'll get in trouble here and there, but the problem is that our offense usually doesn't give him big enough leads (or leads at all) to give him a cushion for mistakes.

Q almost prevented them from scoring there. Nice job after the leadoff walk and the bad pitch to Plouffe.

QUOTE (shysocks @ Apr 11, 2016 -> 04:24 PM) Made 'em pay for that E. Jackson should have never come up to the plate. Dozier made a bad decision by throwing home instead of trying to double up Navarro. I'm pretty sure I can run faster than Dioner.

And WTF is Eaton doing swinging at the first pitch every time?
-
4/11 Game thread: @ Minnesota, 3:10pm, CSN/WLS
It's not a grand slam, but I'll definitely take it. Jackson's been absolutely drilling the ball and he should have a few HRs by now if it wasn't for some obscure luck.

**2016 Video Game Thread**
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 11, 2016 -> 06:20 AM) How many hours did it take to beat and how good was it? I'd say it took like 10 hours? I wasn't counting. But I really liked the game. The game's mechanics are just OK. The time warping powers you get are cool at first, but you pretty much get all of them near the start, so by the end of the game, the combat isn't as cool, just more difficult. The story is what's great about this game. The alternate stories you can create with your choices at junctions, the whole time traveling aspect, and the 20 minute live action TV episodes in between acts are all really cool. At the very least, go rent it at Red Box or something. I'll play through it again with different choices to see if I get different things.

I finished Quantum Break in one weekend...there's some replay value, but I'm glad I didn't get it on digital.

Has anyone seen The Night Manager yet? It'll be on AMC in a week, but it's already been finished in the UK. I just finished it and it was definitely a worthwhile watch.
