  1. Wow, you might as well let Peavy intentionally walk Avila and bring in Reed.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 03:09 PM) I can't believe the Twins gave Detroit Delmon Young for nothing. Considering their current OF depth, it is questionable. However, Delmon Young's not good...so yeah.
  3. Delmon Young is so mysterious. 95% of the time he sucks, the other 5% of the time, he looks great.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 03:06 PM) Delmon goes down the line for a two run homer. 3-2 Sox. He gave it up to the wrong guy...ugh.
  5. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 03:02 PM) Cabrera 4/28 (143) career against PEAVY. Walks. Ohman against Fielder? Reed's close to ready as well. Yikes... Let Peavy pitch out of it. Worst comes to worst, we have a 1 run lead.
  6. Big out for Jake, now he gets to face Cabrera with no one on.
  7. Big inning for Peavy coming up. Get through this part of the lineup and we have a good chance to win this one.
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 02:54 PM) AJ with a triple, PK scores 3-0 SOX! PILE IT ON.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 02:53 PM) PK dunks in an RBI single, 2-0 SOX! Woot!
  10. Well, I think it's apparent that Dunn doesn't like hitting at the Cell. 3 Ks already.
  11. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 02:50 PM) This inning outta be it for Scherzer... You never know, Leyland loves to abuse his pitchers.
  12. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 02:48 PM) Missiles don't perform well in April--just ask North Korea.
  13. Alejandro with his first walk of the year.
  14. Stupid MLB Gameday, why don't you actually show me what's going on?
  15. The Tigers have the fattest duo in MLB.
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 01:14 PM) Apparently AJ pointed out that Cabrera wasn't standing in the batters box, and now Miguel is complaining that it isn't big enough. lol, it's because Miguel Cabrera is that fat.
  17. It might be home run mania today.
  18. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 12:55 PM) You don't know what you're talking about. He's got a point. A lot of people buy Apple projects because a) it's some sort of a symbol that you have money b) it's popular (i.e. it's Apple) c) it's easy to use and they don't care about the restrictions that comes with iOS. But then again, there's also that point where the iPad easily has the best hardware of any tablet out there.
  19. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 12:50 PM) My mom has the Kindle Fire and it's fun to mess around on, but I just don't find tablets practical. If you are going to carry around something so big, might as well just carry around a netbook, or a laptop. I feel like WELL over half the people who own a tablet have it for the "look what I have!" factor, especially the ones who buy Apple's tablet. But then again, that's true for pretty much anyone who buys an Apple device over other devices. But I could go on for days about this, and it's not really the thread for that. IMO, the only advantage of a tablet is the ability to write on it.
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 11:47 AM) you can try justin.tv ilemi.eu used to carry NBA and MLB, this year just NBA and only sporadically now i just got MLB.TV but it doesn't come in very well at my school here in China...only late at night or on the weekends when the students are gone otherwise, i listen through gameday audio, which is probably the best bargain still today, about half the price of a New Era fitted cap Are you some sort of visiting professor/teacher?
  21. Why would you ever hate the idea of free wifi? I'd much rather use that than spend my bandwidth from my data plan.

    QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 09:13 AM) I can't hit for s*** in the new Show. I was always pretty good in the 2010 version, but apparently they've tweaked something. I can have 10-14 pitch at bats, fouling everything off, but it's rare to get more than a few hits in a game. The Show on Vita is ridiculous. I can't even hit on rookie, that's how f***ing hard the game is. I have to cheat with the sliders in order to hit well, which is absolutely ridiculous. Unless I guess the right pitch and time it perfectly, I'm not getting a hit. It's kind of ridiculous, I've never had so much trouble hitting in the game before, even when they had analog hitting last year.

    QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 08:32 PM) Jackoff time - the OS Sports Full Minors Opening Day rosters are now live. http://www.operationsports.com/forums/mlb-...pening-day.html I get these every year. The detail, down to every face of minor leaguers. Everyone. Done. I remember their Morel two years ago was as spot on as they get. I cannot wait to unleash Hector Santiago tonight (and trade Alex Rios), as I start my legit season. Glad I got my P90X out of the way this morning! You have no idea how much of a pain in the ass it is to make these rosters. I did the batting stances/pitching motions for every single player on the opening day roster last year. Then Knight (the guy who is in charge of this) got pissed off that the lineups in my roster file were messed up and well, I had to re-make lineups and rotations for every single team at every single level. Needless to say, I stayed away from it for the most part this year and saved my time. I put in at least 30-40 hours into my part of the project last year. *Sigh... While I'm at it... SCEA needs to hire people who know what they're actually doing with pitch types, player attributes, player motions, player equipment etc. There's always holes in all of these things in every single version of the game, many of them (for those who really pay attention) in fact. I shouldn't have to spend $60, only to spend 30 hours correcting these things before I really get to enjoy the game in its most authentic form. All Sony San Diego has to do is hire some people from the OS forums who want a summer job or something and get things straight.
  24. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 10:16 PM) It's just fairly obvious that LeBron can completely take him out of his game when he sets his mind to it. When that happens, the Bulls are much better without him even on the floor. Watson's not a bad offensive player when his shot is on. He can create off the dribble a bit and penetrate here and there. I'd bet a Bulls team without Rose can take Miami to 6 games in a playoff series.
  25. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 10:05 PM) lol Miami quit and the Bulls are still trying to get the ball. This says a lot about the teams' head coaches.
