White Sox @ Texas Rangers April 6 OPENING DAY GAME THREAD
QUOTE (sunofgold @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 03:41 PM) I kinda didn't like how Ventura managed this game and I have been supporting him. Morel batting second? He never has batted second before and boy did he look uncomfortable. Having De Aza try to steal second with Dunn up there and of course Dunn walks Taking Danks out early in a close game kinda is a give up move. Not thinking about possibly extra inning game. Not using a pinch hitter for Morel or Beckham or Rios etc Yeah I didn't like that decision at all.

Jesus Christ Mike Winters. Is Colby Lewis on your fantasy team or something? That strike zone is bigger than the ones Greg Maddux got.

The plate is super wide for Lewis. He got an inside and outside strike in that AB with Morel. And please, lay off that s***ty cutter Lewis throws. It's never a freaking strike.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 02:48 AM) Currently in Sound Bar right now and spotted D Rose in the club! I guess dude has his own way of shaking off the basketball rust. And he looks good enough that he could have played tonight. So what was he up to?

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 5, 2012 -> 03:51 PM) Not trying to be gay. But Carlos Marmol has a big f***ing ass. Looks like he's gained 20 pounds and it all went to his booty. Again, not trying to be gay. Though it sounds like it. We know you're not gay J4L, it's okay.

And Ross lines one right to Peralta... Valverde's lucky he didn't lose the game yet. Good to see him finally blow a save though. That lucky bastard wasn't going to save everything.

QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Apr 5, 2012 -> 02:32 PM) Verlander at 108 pitches with two lefties coming up in the 9th wonder if he stays in the game. I hope he does. I have him on my fantasy team and a 60+ point performance would be awesome.

You can cancel the postgame show. I really wanted to see the Marlins get no hit, it'd be a nice bomb on their little hype party.

New Park or Not Same Marlins
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 12:17 PM) "They're getting paid a lot of money to perform," Guillen said. "If they cannot play, somebody will play. They make the lineup. I write it down, and [bench coach] Joey Cora prints it. That's what we do here. If you play good, you make the lineup. If you do not play good, somebody will make the lineup. We'll put in somebody else. This is not an easy job." Had to chuckle about that line. As far as Yankees' fans, you have all the transplanted Northerners who retire in FL, PLUS the fact that the Yankees have always made their spring training home in the state as well as the fact that the Steinbrenner family is from Tampa. Lots of ties to the region. Yankees will always be the biggest draw on the road in MLB, for the foreseeable future. So what part of the first highlight is supposed to be hard? Sounds pretty damn easy to me Ozzie. Plus, isn't it Ozzie that makes the f***ing lineups? lol
