  1. Are you kidding me? That pitch was nowhere close!
  2. Just take Gregg's pitches. He can't get anything over but the breaking ball right now.
  3. Gregg aced Konerko with two pitches.
  4. Konerko is 7-11 against Gregg or something like that.
  5. It's not easy to walk Alexei.
  6. Let's see if this offense can solve a bad reliever.

I picked up Humber in my fantasy league. I can't wait to see how J4L will react when Humber wins me some games...

I have back to back finals next Friday. Both are ECE (electrical and computer engineering), I don't think I'm prepared for either, and sometimes I wonder why I torture myself with one of the hardest majors at U of I.
  9. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 12:12 AM) Oh I know. But you know how sensitive some get around here. I didn't want death threats if it was implied that I was saying Westbrook was equal or better than Rose. And how about that Ibaka? That dude is a fricken monster. The Perkins addition has had a noticeable impact on him. He's more freed up now to just wreak havoc on the boards and shot-blocking. I think he had 9. But he changed or altered at least 5 other shots by my count. That team is built for LA. The guy's blocking ability is video game like. I fear playing against the Thunder every time in 2K11. Ibaka owns you every time you drive to the hoop, it's ridiculous.
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 12:05 AM) I wasn't debating Rose and Westbrook. Rose is the better player. But Westbook is clearly a star player. Yeah, he was sporadic and definitely needs to play a smarter, more disciplined game going forward. And even with that he still fills up a stat sheet, though he stunk up the joint tonight. I guess ultimately what I'm saying is that you're in pretty damn good shape when Russell Westbrook is your second best player. I was just posting my observations. lol
  11. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 11:26 PM) Kevin Durant just personally sent Denver home for the summer. That WAS SPECTACULAR. This Thunder team is somethin' else. I've got them in the conference finals for sure. They're the total package. Length, athleticism, size, depth and not one but TWO stars. Westbrook's looked pretty bad since game 1. Refusing to pass, missing more shots than Rose on a bad shooting night...etc. I swear, when I watch Rose, I see a lot of control, composure, and I feel confident and at ease. When I watch Westbrook, I don't know what the hell might happen next. Will he miss a wide open layup? Will he make some weird shot? I feel like they're still quite the ways apart.
  12. Gary Neal, holy crap. San Antonio still has life.
  13. What the hell? Colon can still throw 96? Where the f*** was this when he pitched with us?
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 09:40 AM) Carlos Boozer has been diagnosed with turf toe after feeling something pop during Tuesday's win over the Pacers. The pop he heard came from his ovaries. Boozer hasn't done anything worthwhile since game 2 and he's a defensive liability. I'd rather give Gibson and Asik more minutes at this point.

QUOTE (Pale Sox @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 01:26 AM) These were my exact thoughts about Dunn entering the season: And that didn't take into account surgery. I'm going to stay optimistic we didn't sign Pat Burrell II to such a big contract. Dunn hit a home run in his second AB. I think the initial impressions were pretty good. The surgery probably has something to do with his recent struggles.
  16. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 12:24 AM) You know, as much as id hate to disappoint T R U, i hate to see this happen to Sony... I was about to start a new Demons Souls character after this disaster of a semester that ive had.. hopefully they get everything together.... Sony needs to learn not to mess with hackers. They're like a brotherhood. You mess with one, all the other ones get pissed at you.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 11:15 PM) Whats that supposed to mean? Look for the thread, you'll see what I mean.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 11:01 PM) Adam Dunn is the last time I trust the mathletes and their tired bulls***. Where were you when Felix's thread about Dunn being done came up? That would have been entertaining.
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 11:53 AM) The PS3 has evolved continually since launch. The original concept may be 5 years old, the PS3 Slim + all software that is updated consistently is still state of the art. 5 year old technology will never be state of the art in the computer industry (yes, consoles are technically computers). They have made mods to the hardware of both systems, but at the core, they're still primitive in comparison to a PC that is equipped with the latest video card and processor. Moore's law says that the number of transistor on a chip can double every two years. In that time, the average transistor size on the average processor has gone from 90 nm to 45 nm. The state of the art processors today have shrunk down to 32nm and 16nm is not too far in the future. I seriously have a hard time playing some of the PS3 ports on my monitor. It just doesn't compare with how crisp the games look on PC. Battlefield 3 will be the one of the first games to truly emphasize just how powerful the PC is compared to the consoles at this point. Microsoft and Sony need to seriously think about new consoles and fast. Money is one thing they can drain out of the current gen, but if developers are going to be held back by old technology, it's going to give more of the market share to the PC.
  20. QUOTE (kev211 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 10:06 PM) Pretty sure thats a fake Scalabrine twitter. He doesn't have a twitter. I wouldn't be surprised if he really does. A lot of the players have one. Watson uses his all the time.
  21. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 09:49 PM) The fire I thought they ruled that a non-catch after Lillibridge pounded the ground. It was pretty close to hitting the ground, that's for sure. I thought it was a sure hit when it left Cano's bat.
  22. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 09:46 PM) granger acted salty towards deng during postgame For a pretty smart guy (he got an engineering degree and had good enough grades to get into an Ivy League school), Granger sure doesn't know when to shut up.
  23. Thibbs needs to put Scalabrine in, just so he can back up his Twitter comment. But it's too bad he's not active.
  24. Now the Bulls can't miss.
  25. Frank Vogel shouldn't have talked too much. Bulls have finally showed up with intensity. Keith Bogans is having the game of his life.
