  1. The Bulls really let this one get away when Thibbs put the bench mob out there to start the 4th. The team was already starting to lose some gas at the end of the third after they took a 6 point lead. You'd think Thibbs would have started out the 4th with the foot on the accelerator and played his starters.
  2. QUOTE (Real @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:33 PM) how bad is rose hurt btw? turned the game off a long time ago Not terrible, but it was the same ankle he tweaked before. You'd think his ankle would be fine after a whole week's worth of rest.
  3. QUOTE (Felix @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:33 PM) They were 21-3 in the regular season when they shot 50% or better. So the good news is that this only happens about 30% of the time.
  4. Rose had zero free throws. I guess that's what happens when the other team doesn't try to kill you every time you drive into the lane.
  5. Crawford and Johnson just can't miss...
  6. Another bad call causing a T.
  7. Still a lot of time left. Make a run and get it within a couple of possessions with 3 minutes left and this game is winnable.
  8. Rose and his three point shooting is making him Brandon Jennings-like. The worst thing is that he's taking contested 3s.
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ May 2, 2011 -> 08:08 PM) Aside from Eddie House, has a player playing as awful basketball as Carlos Boozer is right now ever talked so much s***? Great job by the bench and Deng in the first half they played terrific basketball. Deng was the only guy attacking the basket on a consistent basis. Rose needs to start driving.
  10. And now for the stuff we knew all along: http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/news/story?id=6468133
  11. Poor charge call on Watson. Collins' feet were moving to cause the contact.
  12. When Ronnie Brewer is making threes, you know something good is happening.
  13. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ May 2, 2011 -> 07:20 PM) It is truly incredible how poor Boozer's defensive awareness is. But...turf toe is limiting him!
  14. QUOTE (Felix @ May 2, 2011 -> 07:17 PM) Deng is the only one interested in doing that so far And he has all of the Bulls' points. Not a coincidence.
  15. Drive to the basket...come on.
  16. Hawks are getting all the bounces. Boozer strips Johnson, Hawks get it back, Johnson's wide open in the corner because of the strip. Smith fumbles the ball, but somehow has it bounce right into the lane...
  17. Absolutely horrible defense so far.
  18. Guthrie owns the Sox. Please don't get swept.
  19. QUOTE (DBAHO @ May 2, 2011 -> 05:05 AM) Better shot selection on offense (pounding the ball inside with Z-Bo and Gasol), and probably better defense because Shane Battier is getting more playing time. That said Gay is a very good player, but it's right to question at the moment whether he'd make the Grizzlies a better team at this point. Sam Young's also getting 20 minutes a game and he's not exactly a good player. He's solid defensively, but not so much on the offensive end. Like you said, Gay's a very good player and Memphis is probably better off with him than without him. Most Memphis fans will probably tell you that.
  20. I really wonder how this affects Obama's chances in the 2012 election. Regardless, this is awesome news and a symbolic victory for America.
  21. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 1, 2011 -> 08:56 PM) Yes. Overall, Memphis is just a talented, well balanced overall team. I think in the end that OKC is just a little too talented and too good but the Grizzlies can play with anyone imo. If Memphis had a healthy Rudy Gay, I would be pretty scared if I were the Lakers.
  22. QUOTE (fathom @ May 1, 2011 -> 04:13 PM) Nice 2 strike swing by AJP on the 1 strike pitch. I can't believe Ozzie didn't get tossed on the Rios strike. I don't think he wants to get into any more trouble after the whole Twitter thing.
  23. Alex shouldn't have swung at the 3-1 breaking ball. Rios probably wasn't going to hit anything useful in that situation anyhow.
  24. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 1, 2011 -> 04:11 PM) Konerko nd Rios both hetting called third strikes. What the hewck is the matter here? Is Gregg that sneaky? The pitch to Rios was a good 6 inches outside.
