  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 12, 2011 -> 02:28 PM) There is no logical reason. Just like Kobe continually making the All Defensive team. Kobe's a great player. But he really needs to give back about 3 All NBA selections, 5 or 6 All Defensive team selections and his '08 MVP (Paul should've easily won that). Kobe is the Derek Jeter of basketball.
  2. QUOTE (smalls2598 @ May 12, 2011 -> 01:31 PM) The 2011 All NBA Teams, per Rotoworld: 1st: Durant, LeBron, Howard, Rose, Kobe 2nd: Westbrook, Wade, Dirk, P. Gasol, Stoudamire 3rd: Paul, Ginobili, Randolph, Aldridge, Horford Why the hell is Kobe on first team instead of Wade?
  3. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 12, 2011 -> 02:51 AM) found this story from last fall when I was doing some research, I wasn't surprised in the least that none of the teams that climbed all the way back in to make the playoffs didn't win the World Series....including last year's Sox team, well, there's always a first time, right??? http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ys-f...comebacks081809 A couple of teams they didn't mention because they were already 5-10 games over .500 at the All-Star Break. 2006 Minnesota Twins, 26-33 (low point, actually this year's team at 11 games under .500 NOW is the all-time worst record for a Twins' team under Gardenhire) 11.5-12 GB 47-39 at ASB 70-33 record to finish the season 2009 Colorado Rockies, 31-33 low point, 11.5 GB 47-41 at ASB 61-37 record to finish the season 2005 Houston Astros, started 15-30/21-35 (low point was 16 GB) ASB 44-43 Finished the season on a 68-38 run This team probably compares very well with the Astros.
  4. Peavy averaged 91.35 on his Four seamer, 90.5 on his two seamer. Fastest he got on any pitch was 93.3. I have to say that I'm impressed. He had good control, too. It's good that we have 6 starters who can give us a chance to win every game. Hopefully, Peavy keeps on progressing and he can average 92-93 on the fastball like he used to.
  5. Konerko's flip was something. Rajon Rondo ain't got s*** on him.
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 11, 2011 -> 07:46 AM) Cards I would lean towards this route as well.
  7. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ May 10, 2011 -> 09:49 PM) Josh Smith from 16-23 feet usually has all the time he wants and nobody in his face. This is true.
  8. Noah was so bad. Boozer looked like he was very assertive, which is good. Too bad his shots weren't really going down. The fact the Bulls pulled this one out with the big men being so bad is very encouraging. Great performances from Rose, Deng, and Bogans.
  9. No excuse for the Bulls to lose this series now.
  10. QUOTE (Felix @ May 10, 2011 -> 09:43 PM) The funny thing about this is that Josh Smith shot better (albeit by 1%) from 16-23 feet than Rose did this year. He also had the same eFG from 3 as Rose this year. So really, any Bulls fan making fun of Josh Smith's jump shot... He's not shooting that well in the playoffs is he? Because there's no way in hell he can average 16 points a game shooting the way he did for most of this series.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 10, 2011 -> 09:41 PM) Big props to Thibs for benching the starters He didn't panic this time. Please take Rose off the court now. No need for anything stupid to happen in a 12 point game.
  12. Josh Smith's jump shot is the best thing ever invented for any defense he plays.
  13. Good to see the Bulls decided to turn it up on D. Just play that D for another 2 minutes and we'll be in good shape for this series.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 10, 2011 -> 09:32 PM) Everybody should know how much of a Luol hater I was prior to this year. He's been spectacular all year. All defensive team is about as much of a joke as the gold glove award.
  15. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ May 10, 2011 -> 09:16 PM) Jeff Teague makes everything! WTF I'm not watching the game, following it on NBA.com...so I'm assuming these aren't contested shots right?
  16. Since the bench has been so damn bad this game, Thibs might have to keep his starters out there for the start of the 4th.
  17. QUOTE (Felix @ May 10, 2011 -> 09:11 PM) The pessimism in this thread is downright hilarious right now. The game isn't over yet. The sky isn't falling. There's a whole quarter left. Contrary to the Indiana series, the Bulls have been awful in the 4th quarter this series.
  18. Jeff Teague is going off again. For crying out loud, play some damn defense.
  19. I would only follow the team because it would have a similar roster. But if they suck and guys like Konerko and Buehrle leave, then my interest would be really really low.
  20. Bad second quarter. The bench didn't come to play today. Pachulia's having his way inside, that should NEVER happen.
  21. Keep shooting long jumpers Josh Smith, it's awesome.
  22. This is the right step forward for Houston. They need to get rid of that entire FO in order to have a chance of winning any time soon.
  23. Zaza Pachulia is very annoying. Like Bogans annoying.
  24. Bulls could have ended that first quarter much better. But I can't complain at all. Deng, Rose, and Bogans were unreal.
  25. Give that man Keith Bogans some hot sauce Making it rain 3s and reverse layups. lmao
