If we can get Dunn at 3 years $40 million, I'd be pretty happy. You might not be getting as good of defense at 1B compared to PK, but the offensive production should make up for it. Ideally, I'd like to have both, but I don't think that's a very real scenario at this point.

Sign him to an extension. He's a perennial 4 WAR player given his defense and his good power for a SS.

Played the new NFS Hot Pursuit yesterday. I was really surprised at how well it played. It's been a long time since I actually enjoyed a Need for Speed game. The drifting and the boost system were awesome. Criterion made it like half Burnout, half NFS.

I saw that Koji Uehara wasn't offered arbitration. Maybe this is that bullpen arm we need. The guy struck out 11/9 last year and walked only 1/9 with a 2.86 ERA. He also closed out some games. I don't know what he plans on doing (maybe he'll go back to Japan?), but I think he's going to get interest from a good amount of teams.

I could see 2009 numbers again and then Keith Law voting for him on his Cy Young ballot.

I see this as a very good move for Florida. I find it funny that Nolasco and Vazquez, the two guys who always have good FIPs but mediocre or bad ERAs will be on the same team. This will be a good experiment.
