Why didn't they show Beckham's check swing again?

So Ozzie uses Santos in a blowout yesterday. But when we really need him, he's not available? Blah...

And why are all of our pitchers throwing hangers to Vernon Wells?

Blue Jays @ White Sox - 1:05 CSN
I like Tony Pena, but why is Ozzie using him in the 8th inning...?

Gordon Beckham: What To Do?
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 9, 2010 -> 03:43 PM) Then our only backup IF would be Omar Vizquel. Just how many times has Nix been useful this year other than the occasional start? We don't need a second middle infielder, especially when Vizquel plays three infield positions.

I need to find that post last year where I predicted that Rios would hit .290 with 27 home runs and a .850 OPS this season.

When you let f***ing Jose Molina get on base twice, you have issues.

Gordon Beckham: What To Do?
If he keeps this up, yeah, it might be the only way to get him back to earth.

WTF Gavin? After that horrendous 3rd inning, you bust out the curveball and make every batter look like crap?

May Catch All White Sox Thread
Rios' WAR: 1.3 Putz's xFIP: 1.83 You know why this bullpen is bad? It's because Ozzie keeps trotting out Linebrink and Williams instead of Santos and Putz. Santos and Putz have a combined 20 innings under their belt while Linebrink and Williams have 22. Those 42 innings should be distributed a lot more towards Putz and Santos.

2010 AL Central Catch-All
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:25 AM) The two games I followed on-line, most of his fastballs were 90-92. Maybe they were two seam sinkers, not sure what was up, but before all of his injuries, when he first came up with Seattle, he was at 94-98 consistently. I never have once said anywhere at SoxTalk that Rauch was even a "good" closer. Where did that come from? Yes, Soriano, if healthy, is much better than Rauch. The question has always been about his durability. I've also seen those three adjectives used to describe Jon Adkins, Arnie Munoz's curveball, Gio's curveball, Felix Diaz, Lorenzo Barcelo, Nick Masset, Sisco, etc. Soriano's avg fastball velocity is 93.3 this year. It was 93.3 last year and it's on par with what he did when he started his career with Seattle.
