My problem is that he was clearly sitting fastball because they barely made him think about a breaking pitch. I think he was sitting on that early in the count, but as the at bat went on it was clear that Hudson would just keep pumping him fastballs.

Why would you keep pumping him fastballs in the zone? The one sweeper you threw him wasn't even competitive.
