  1. Grandal is at 3rd right now, so it's gonna take a real deep fly ball to score him.
  2. About the best I could have hoped for there.
  3. The Twins could have had both Graterol and Duran. They're really good at developing failed starters into dominant power relievers.
  4. Nope. Can't replace Engel's defense in the OF if you bring in Sheets for him.
  5. Roberts ain't messing around. We're awful with the bases loaded and Graterol is gonna face 3 righties who aren't good at hitting high velocity.
  6. Damn Graterol is coming in.
  7. Better get these 2 guys home off Anderson, cause Graterol is warming up.
  8. Pollock killed that ball. I thought it was a liner right to Betts and it just kept going.
  9. You can tell Anderson's little hesitation leg kick is screwing with our hitter's timing. He had a decent outing against us last year with the Pirates.
  10. I'm pretty sure Anderson had a near 30 inning scoreless streak before that last run we scored.
  11. Holy shit this umpire is trash. This isn't even a framing problem, he's missing obvious strikes.
  12. Nope. We learned the hard way back in 2020 when Eloy let a harmless fly ball turn into an inside the park home run.
  13. Lynn's rehab start didn't exactly go well yesterday either. He said he felt good, but he also gave up 7 runs in 3 innings.
  14. Yankees fans were confused af with his decisions during our home series against them.
  15. Range anxiety is definitely real, but if you plan stuff out, it's not really an issue. I did a round trip from Austin to Chicago this past winter in a Tesla and it was fine. I actually enjoyed not having to drive for 7 or 8 hours straight and getting 20-30 minute charging breaks every 2-3 hours. I never ran low enough on charge that I was scared I wasn't going to make it to the next charging station. I'm not sure how wide spread charging stations are for non-Teslas, but the Tesla supercharging network is pretty accommodating and there's usually one every 150 miles along most major highways.
  16. On the bright side...we get to face Kimbrel in the 9th.
  17. Yeah I got nothing against Leury, it's the management that's failing the fans.
  18. At this point you gotta just play your best players. The lefties and switch hitters have all been worthless. A platoon advantage doesn't do shit when the guys with the advantage can't get hits. In the end, this is on Hahn for failing to address our weak hitting from the left side.
  19. Yeah cause baseball genius TLR decided to reshuffle the lineup that was actually working.
  20. Leury sucking in the leadoff spot once again.
  21. Cueto's stuff doesn't look real good today.
  22. Kopech at his best is totally one of the best pitchers in baseball. He just needs to work on his consistency from start to start. I guess it's part of the growing pains of ramping up his innings.
  23. Cooper tried to reign in Sale in 2016 cause he was worried his arm wouldn't last. He wasn't throwing as hard and tried to pitch to contact. Boston didn't care and they burned him out in 2 years.
  24. Banning the shift might revive Grandal's bat. He probably gains 50 points of batting average if they can no longer play the 2B in the outfield for him.
