6/11 White Sox vs Texas Rangers, 1:10
Both Martin Perez and Tyler Anderson had been carving up other teams (I have both of them in fantasy). Seeing the Sox demolish both of them has been pretty encouraging.

For now, Burger at DH is fine. Although if Moncada is still hitting a buck 50 by July, you gotta start thinking about just benching or ILing him.

Prior to today's start, his numbers since coming off the COVID list: 21.2 IP, 4.57 ERA, 5.21 FIP, 5 home runs allowed. It's not gonna be any better after today's either.

A hanging slider...you apparently can't give Lucas any kind of lead cause he'll start pitching like shit.

Gio trying to give this lead right back. He's been getting good run support recently and just collapsing around the middle innings.

Burger just murders lefties. That wasn't even a bad pitch.

Even if he was fully healthy you don't see a ton of catchers catching a day game after a night game.

Wow just when Grandal seemed to be getting back to hitting he hurts himself jogging. You can't make this shit up.

He really hasn't been the same since he got COVID.

There's no way that's real. He hit a homer in KC last month.

Turns out an intentional walk on a 1-2 count has only happened twice before since 2014. And both times it also blew up in the manager's face.

Detroit pitchers have some of the worst luck. God damn.

Gavin Sheets Optioned to AAA. Lambert Up.
Not having to deal with his defense in RF is a huge plus. He also stopped hitting for any sort of power about 3 weeks ago. So there's no point in him being up here.

Hey, that sounds familiar! The Sox definitely weren't ready for postseason play last year.

If his goal is to catch Connie Mack, then he really didn't think it through very well. Just like how he didn't think through the intentional walk yesterday.

The Phillies fired Girardi a week ago. They were 8 games under .500. They were a few games back of the Sox. They're now a game up on the Sox and haven't lost since Girardi's firing.

TLR 2022 Thread
The defense is worse now than it was when Tony was hired. The offense wasn't better last year than it was in 2020. It's not even worth comparing for this year. The only thing that's improved since 2020 is the pitching and Katz is probably responsible for most of that. I can't believe I actually miss Rick Renteria as manager. You know, the guy who experimented with Carlos Rodon as a reliever with the division on the line. The guy who probably broke Jimmy Cordero's elbow. The guy who loaded the bases to pitch to Christian Yelich.

Who is Changing Plans? Attending Less Games
I've already spent my time following this team, there's no way in hell I'm gonna spend money to watch it.

TLR 2022 Thread
TLR is dying by platoon splits. The Dodgers guys said this perfectly yesterday when criticizing Tony's lineup. Tony loves to put his lineups with alternating handedness and he'll do it at the expense of putting his better hitters lower in the order. Is it a coincidence that the game he pulled that shit we ended up scoring 1 run when the offense has actually been producing at least 3-4 runs with the more right handed dominant lineup?

TLR 2022 Thread
The problem is that almost everyone on this coaching staff is a TLR crony. So if they get rid of him and the replacement is in-house, I doubt anything really changes. It'll just be a less senile version of him. The problems in the org are deeper than just him. It probably starts with him, but it doesn't end there.
