Burke's issue is consistency. His stuff is so good when he's on. But when he loses it, he's all over the place and not that effective. He's gotten better about it this year, but he still needs to be more consistent to take the next step.

On top of the personal life issues, he had some lower body injuries that probably added up. At the ML level, I'd imagine any loss of speed, athleticism, and the ability to use your lower body effectively will make a big impact on performance. TA's whole game was already on a knife's edge when he was good. He relied on his speed to put up some gaudy BABIP numbers. Without his speed and a good base to hit from, his whole game came crashing down.
