Doval tried to give us the game and we wouldn't take it.

That's the 2nd double play Vargas has grounded into with the bases loaded recently.

Miguel has been missing a lot of hangers recently.

Sam sliding there with nobody around is hilarious.

Thank you Doval!

With school going on, that's probably about right. The weekend attendance has been decent.

If only we only gave up 1 last inning instead of 3.

Beni has a grand slam off Doval. Too bad Will already pinch hit for him.

That team was up 3 games with 2 weeks left. Detroit got hot and we won 4 of our last 15.

It's funny that this ump has been missing on high strikes all game and nobody bothers to challenge those, but the 2 challenges they do issue are pitches that are nowhere close to the zone.

The difference between this one and the previous one is that those teams actually had some expectations. This one didn't, so it wasn't really equipped to handle a season long workload of trying to win everyday. Getz screwing up the deadline just made things worse.

3-7 in our last 10.

Probably trying to limit his innings.

You can't be losing to the Pirates when they're throwing a bullpen game. Just horrendous by the team all around.

That's ballgame

I'm not sure why Newcomb is still in. Guess they don't want to go with Taylor down 2.

Ugh, with how the offense is going, that's probably game.

It's not like the Pirates are that good. This team scored 3 runs in 3 games against the Angels.

Everything going right for the Sox today except the product on the field.

Terrible call and then Colson forgets how to hit lefties.

They gotta challenge that. These strike calls are so high.

Interesting that the Pirates didn't play Grichuk as dead pull in the infield. I feel like that's half of his contact.

Why are they bringing in Taylor in the 7th?

Mune is gonna be under .200 by the end of the week at this rate.

I guess Vargas is ok to hit, but not field?
