  1. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Nov 9, 2016 -> 11:19 AM) There are so many smart people on both sides of the aisle and Omarrossa to hold a cabinet position is not beyond the realm of possibilities. We're becoming a reality TV show...
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 9, 2016 -> 11:12 AM) I can't see Michelle wanting the office. She just doesn't seem like she wants to expose herself to that. However you want to look at it, Trump winning just gave Democrats a really easy way back into the White House in 2020 where they can elect a candidate much better than Hillary. Michelle's very well liked and well spoken, so she has that going for her. But going off the sentiment of anti-establishment rhetoric, Warren has a really good shot in 4 years. She's basically the younger female Bernie Sanders.
  3. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 9, 2016 -> 06:52 AM) Hate to be that guy, but what do the Dems throw out in 4 years? Booker? Cuban? Biden will be too old. I'll see myself out. Warren, Michelle Obama. I don't think Biden will be too old. McCain ran when he was 80 and he'll be serving until he's 92. Edit: McCain ain't that old, he ran at 72. For some reason I thought he's 86.
  4. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Nov 9, 2016 -> 01:00 AM) I told you that the dems picked the worst candidate in the world. She was probably the third best the DNC could have pushed for. With Bernie and Biden (I know he didn't run...but I'm sure that had something to do with the next point I'm going to make) being the first 2. It's too bad Clinton owned the DNC.
  5. Pennsylvania will be called at any moment and it'll be over. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around this. Just a year ago, the idea of a Trump presidency was an absolute joke. Now he's probably going to be the next president of the United States.
  6. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 11:27 PM) The Canadian immigration website has crashed. This might seem like a joke, but for people who might actually be affected by Trump: Muslims, Latinos, LGBT, there might be an actual reason to pursue immigration.
  7. I just can't comprehend this...how were the polls SO WRONG? They've never been this off before.
  8. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 11:10 PM) HARRY ENTEN 11:58 PM There’s going to be a lot of talk about white voters after the election, but looking at the exit polls, that’s not the full story. A big part of the story is that Clinton underperformed Obama with blacks and Hispanics. Clinton is winning only 88 percent of the black vote. Exit polls in 2012 had Obama at 93 percent. Clinton is only at 65 percent among Latinos. Obama won 71 percent of them. How only 2/3 of Latinos voted for Clinton when Trump said what he said is just insane.
  9. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 09:53 PM) This electoral college stuff is so stupid and outdated. It would be nice to change to popular vote in 2020. Seriously...then my vote would actually matter, no matter how insignificant it is in comparison to the total number of votes. Right now, if you're a candidate, you care about maybe 11 states and it's it. The rest of the country can go f*** itself fwiw.
  10. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 09:41 PM) What if Donald wins MI and Clinton win WI? It's over unless Hillary pulls a win out of Iowa, Nevada, and Arizona.
  11. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 09:35 PM) Colorado to Clinton, shaking slightly less Don't care. It's all about Michigan.
  12. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 09:06 PM) Not all of them, I know a lot of republicans who still tear into his policies when he's brought up. I never said all, but we knew that this election would have nothing to do with actual policy once Trump won the nomination. Bernie is about as clean as you can get for a politician while Clinton is heavily disliked and mired in controversy.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 09:03 PM) One thing that should be obvious tonight. There are a whole lot of people who aren't happy in the state of the country right now. If the GOP had nominated someone who wasn't a lunatic, this election would have been over for the Democrats an hour ago. Bernie would have destroyed Trump. All the concerns of Bernie being a democratic socialist would have gone out the window.
  14. Michigan and Pennsylvania are going to be close too. God this is too much.
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 08:46 PM) Nate "my career is over" Silver: 9:37 PM Clinton is leading by only a percentage point in Wayne County, Michigan. That’s a county Obama won by 48 percentage points. Either that result is wrong, a lot of the vote in Detroit (which is in Wayne County) is out, or the map is looking very different than it used to. Silver got Michigan wrong in the Democratic Primary too. Not sure what's wrong with their polling in that state.
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 08:30 PM) Watching msnbc is like watching people talk at a finial. This is a real scare, here It feels so f***ing tense lol
  17. I should have foreseen this coming. Leicester wins the BPL Cavs win the NBA Finals Cubs win the World Series 2016 is all kinds of f***ed up.
  18. If Trump wins, it's the Cubs' fault.
  19. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 07:49 PM) Worst state in the union and it's not debatable. Why are Cubans so pro Trump as opposed to other Hispanics? Because of people like Ted Cruz's dad.
  20. Eh Mookie had the stats to back him up. It just sucks that they can only select one winner for RF.
  21. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 07:29 PM) Miami, Palm Beach and Broward havent updated in at least 15 minutes so Im guessing she has like a 50k cushion, but its really close right now. She's now down by 70k...
  22. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 07:25 PM) Feel better by watching Texas flip back and forth to blue for a bit. Se Florida not fully reported yet, and there are tens of thousands of votes out there. Hillary down 16k with 88% in according to MSNBC.
  23. QUOTE (Ezio Auditore @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 01:45 PM) Damn man, we are over halfway through the election and the score is 0-0. Defensive struggle. All the points will be scored in garbage time. My fantasy team will definitely benefit.
  24. Fantasy football f***ing sucks. I lost by .4 last week when the Bears ran the clock out and Asiata couldn't get anymore touches. I lose by .6 this week when Shady couldn't get 2 f***ing points in the 4th quarter.
  25. So they think we'll be buyers?
