  1. I'm trying to understand why you felt the need to bring him up at all. The Sox bringing Perez here would have made zero fucking sense. This team was always going to suck. You're just a fucking argumentative tool, who apparently gets his rocks off by being right on the internet. Sorry if it bothers you when people call you out on it, but if you don't like it, I really don't care. You can f*** off.
  2. What was the point of bringing up Salvy Perez, and posters who didn't want him here, if not to gloat? It doesn't matter if he has a good season or not. Those arguing against bringing him in are still on the correct side of the argument. There would be absolutely no reason for this team to trade for and pay Salvy Perez this season and next.
  3. Except he's getting paid $20M this season and $22M next season, with a club option in 2026. He also would have required assets to acquire. That's assuming the Royals wanted to trade him and he would come here? What are we even talking about?
  4. Who fucking cares? They both suck, are too old, and neither guy is someone the Sox should have targeted this offseason. You love to argue about meaningless bullshit for wins, huh? Who here wanted the Sox to sign Maldonado?? Maybe go find that one lone poster, and go argue with him about this.
  5. He's not going to have a career year at 34. His OPS by September will likely be around .700. It was .714 last season. That's how small sample sizes work. Unless you think he's going to continue batting .333 or whatever he's batting.
  6. Do you know what a SSS is?
  7. This guy is just a mouthpiece. He's making this other guy jealous.
  8. I don't even want this guy fired. He deserves to manage one of the worst baseball teams of all time, because he's one of the worst managers of all time. Let it ride people. It's not like firing him would make a damn bit of difference.
  9. There's no probably about it. This is a AAA caliber team, minus, like, three players.
  10. Every offensive record in futility is in danger with this roster. Seriously. Three shutouts in eight games, and I don't see any way the offense improves. ?
  11. The "bitches" are the fans still loyal to this incompetent, embarrassing, pathetic fucking franchise. The ones still supporting this fucking fraud of an owner, who has been duping poor White Sox fans for 4 decades. f*** this organization, and f*** anyone who criticizes the fans who are, very understandably, tired of this horseshit.
  12. On the road? At least they have a shot on the road in some of the pitcher parks they will play in. This team has zero power, playing in a hitter's park. They are going to get destroyed at home on the regular.
  13. A Crochet innings limit is just common sense, man. Arm stamina has to be built up.
  14. I'm at the point where I feel sorry for any young players brought into this organization. What do the Sox do well, as an organization? Do they have a single facet they can hang their hat on?
  15. Or perhaps the incompetent training staff strikes again...
  16. Why play young guys with potential, when you know exactly what you're getting out of these reliable veterans? Being reliably fucking terrible is still reliable, people.
  17. Same hip flexor Robert hurt last time? Anyone? How do guys who are supposedly in their prime, constantly have these injuries? It just blows my mind.
  18. This team is averaging 1.86 runs per game. Does anyone here see that improving?
  19. I watched on NBC Sports Chicago. On the last replay they showed, it was clear.
  20. And it was completely predictable. Who could have possibly looked at this roster and thought they would score runs?
  21. Robert wasn't even running hard.... How do you even get injured there?!
  22. Bumping this, with the Robert injury. A whole bunch of those worst offense records just became very, very attainable.
  23. I'd rewind and take a picture of the pant leg and glove deforming, but I just don't give a f***. This team isn't worth the minute it would take me, and it doesn't matter anyway. Not like the Sox were bringing him home.
