  1. QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Jun 28, 2012 -> 01:50 PM) I have to take my husky in on Saturday to be put to sleep. They found a large tumor in his abdomen and said that's it's inoperable. He won't eat anything so he would starve to death otherwise. He's 13 so he's pretty old. He's slowed down a lot in the past couple years. Wow, that sucks.
  2. I would love Will Barton with the 29th pick if he is still there.
  3. I remember I used to hate seeing Minny play us under the old regime...
  4. Glad to see Youk killing it as a ChiSox.
  5. QUOTE (Real @ Jun 24, 2012 -> 04:41 PM) Kenny sure does love his past-their-prime players. Vizquel, Griffey, Hudson, Youkilis, Ramirez edit: forgot the dreaded one Erstad
  6. You would think Ron Artest would keep his mouth shut on Harden... https://mobile.twitter.com/MettaWorldPeace/...548881768333313
  7. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 12:15 PM) It's being ignored. 670 briefly mentioned it jokingly. I don't get why nobody is talking about it, it could have been a huge play, it should've been a tech FT and get the ball back now needing only a 2 pointer to tie if they made the tech FT...and it happened in front of Crawford FFS.
  8. I'm not going to talk about the refs, but I was not in the least bit surprised when I tuned into the game late in the 3rd and saw Durant was in foul trouble...
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 09:24 AM) Here is the play I was talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgYZjXXotp4...mp;feature=plcp Here is a screen grab. I do feel like that should have been a technical foul - he is clearly capable of distracting the player. I just don't think I've ever seen a coach get on the court so far when the play is in his own zone? I'm not complaining about the refs, I just think that's absurd, especially when I was watching it live and he was waving his arm (obviously wanting someone to cover Westbrook) and got WAY TOO CLOSE and could have easily disrupted the play. Wow, how is that not a technical foul?
  10. Reading these last couple of pages I've learned a couple of things...I have no idea what the hell the Bulls need to do to get to the next level and I really do f***ing miss Micheal Jordan/Scottie Pippen. PS, I'm drunk, a bit nostalgic, so f***ing sue me...
  11. MJ's block is pretty ridiculous, and he did it as an old man.
  12. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 11:56 AM) My lord. He's just some random dude somewhere on a computer. I'm sure you can stalk him down and chat with him if you want to, most people here were happy to talk about Rubio and KEVIN.LOVE. with the guy, but he knew what he was doing everytime he brought up D-Rose. He's over it, so I'm sure you can live without the great Felix - or find him posting in a WNBA thread somewhere. lol J4L talking about how horrible this thread is really funny, I didn't know you had to spit Jerry West type of knowledge to post here...the problem is we can't get Larry Brown, Greg Popovich or Phil Jackson to post here...therefore this thread sucks!!!
  13. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 11:39 AM) Please. You and everybody here owes me for bringing some variety and a different perspective to this abomination of a thread. You and the rest of the crybabies in here chased off one of the best posters (felix) this board has ever seen. Why? Because he chose not to suck Rose's cock and recognize this is the NBA thread and not the Bulls thread aka Rose is so amazing because he's humble aka the refs are the reason the bulls ever lose aka LeBron should never see the ft line and if he does its a conspiracy garbage.
  14. I don't know if this was posted here before but Brad Daugherty chimes in on the percieved help from the refs the Heat get. http://m.deadspin.com/5915178/espns-brad-d...--the-officials It's not only Bulls fans who think Miami gets special treatment from the officials, go to any NBA forum and people from every NBA team fanbase are complaining. Last night wasn't so bad but I would love to see OKC get the same calls Miami did last night.
  15. People shouldn't be so hard on LBJ if the Heat don't win it all this year, last year he was the reason the Heat failed, this year he might have to score 40 plus every game for the Heat to win, OKC is simply the better and more balanced team. If he goes 0-3 in the Finals, you could give him a break for his first Finals, a 22 year old leading his team vs a dynasty Spurs team isn't a fair fight, this year the Heat aren't better than OKC...last year he stunk up the joint and got clobbered in the media, rightfully so. This year, if he plays well, I'll give him a pass if he loses.
  16. I think LBJ is gonna show up in these Finals, I don't expect him to disapear like like he did a year ago...still OKC is deeper and they win in 7.
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 7, 2012 -> 02:26 AM) As a basketball fan, this is something that I should know. But reading this shocked the s*** out of me. Only three f***ing teams from the west have seen the finals since 23 shoved Byron Russell out of the way for #6. That is f***ing mind-boggling. He did no such thing, how dare you
  18. Obviously the Western Conference was better this year as in recent years but the Eastern Conference was destroyed by injuries, Horford, Howard, Rose, Bosh, Knicks and half of the Celtics. For some damn reason, the West really hasn't been hit hard other than Billups. OKC has made a believer out of me, I thought there youth would be a weakness vs SAS but that hasn't been the case.
  19. Maybe LeBron doesn't want to get fouled and have to make late game FTs?
  20. RIP Orlando Woolridge http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7996539/...olridge-dead-52
  21. SA was due for a bad game...still think they win in 5 or 6 max.
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 31, 2012 -> 09:22 AM) Personally I'd go with Miami getting screwed and losing to Boston and then Boston getting swept in the finals, but your way works too. just makes me more nervous to have them get NBA-finals close again. I think it would be funnier if the Heat get to the Finals back to back and have nothing to show for it. I have no doubt in my mind that SA is gonna win the NBA title this year, they are absolutly locked on and a flawed team like Miami isn't beating them (with or without Bosh)...unless the refs help them out.
