Okay the Sox have announced: Eduardo Herrera, Jesus Premoli, Orlando Suarez, Alexandre Valdiviezo and Jhoangel Suarez from Venezuela and Jurdrick Profar and Jeziel Boekhoudt from Curacao. Baseball America has them with Manuel Rumbos and Juan Berroteran from Venezuela as well. I'd heard they have 5-6 DR signings as well.

Shuster will be starting in Charlotte and I doubt Berroa makes the club initially

Nightengale says today that Yankees still want Cease but won't include Spencer Jones. I'd think the White Sox could find a package without Jones, personally.

They don't have a surplus of pitching. They do have a surplus of pitchers similar to Cristian Mena though.

Cristian Mena is going to pitch in the majors as a 21-year-old after signing for $250K. It’s an extremely successful international signing. Getz understands that they need power. It’s just expensive to acquire. This plan really isn’t tough to figure out. And also, DeLoach has quite a bit of power. This is extremely dramatic. I’m sure they value Nastrini, Eder, Cannon etc higher than Mena. He projects as a #4 starter. It’s going to be okay.
