18th ranked system according to BA

I purchased my Baseball America handbook and they sent me the PDF of the book. The top 30 list for the Sox is pretty interesting. If Cease is one the team, their rotation will be: Dylan Cease, Erick Fedde, Mike Soroka, Michael Kopech and Chris Flexen with the kids in the minors.

I just don’t think it’s possible. Any new stadium has to have a ballpark village like Atlanta, Cincy etc and I don’t believe the older Bridgeport residents will ever allow something like that

Vera signed for $1.5 million. It’s not even close to the same thing. We’ll find out a lot about Sox young starters this year Every pitcher gets TJS. Just a matter of when with Schultz

For the record, I didn't say Povich. I suggested McDermott. Westburg/Beavers/McDermott and Horvath/Wagner is a pretty good deal imo.

I’m not sure Westburg, Beavers and McDermott would even be on the table at the deadline. Westburg could have a big first half and I expect Beavers and McDermott on midseason top 100

I'd bet on him being here on opening day if this is true. I don't think they're getting two high impact guys from anyone. Getz might have overplayed this unfortunately. He could get it at the deadline if everything goes right but that's not a risk I feel good taking.

The issue I have in general with Baltimore is that I think Kjerstad ends up at first base pretty soon, Ortiz doesn't interest me at all, Norby might be left field only and Cowser's primary value is as a centerfielder. I've been searching for upside in that system.

I think it's 25 homer potential and OBP skills at 2B. If Fangraphs said otherwise though, it must be true.

Agreed. I'd kind of lump Basallo, Mayo, Kjerstad, Cowser and Westburg together. I'm sure some of these guys aren't available but the White Sox definitely aren't getting two of these guys.

No but I think asking for two top 75 types is a bit unrealistic and that's what this would be. I would target Dylan Beavers, personally.
