  1. It’s very obvious to me that La Russa is Nightengale’s source and has been for a long time
  2. Harper and Machado were both firmly Reinsdorf’s fault. f*** that old asshole. Boras only deals with owners.
  3. They absolutely can. He's the GM. He can take a president of baseball ops job.
  4. Nah they can interview. Scott Harris was the GM of the Giants and he took the Tigers president of baseball ops job in September 19th last year.
  5. He was excellent in his final start with Miami. Looked like his old self
  6. Sosa has 103 big league plate appearances.
  7. Victor Quezada hit 6 a couple years ago. He’s been out injured all season

  12. It’s not concerning. Nothing that happens this year will be concerning. College hitters in draft season, especially now need to be given lots of runway.
  13. Crafton plays 5 minutes from my house at Lincoln Way West. He’s their QB as well
  14. Nothing that happens in the first season for college hitters ever matters. They’ve already played so many games.
  15. Carela is Rule 5 eligible so that’ll be interesting
  16. Are you sure? It’s listed as Dalquist and Mena
  17. Where are you expecting Baseball America to have them? You do realize that they’ve added like 8-10 guys to their top 30 via the draft and trades. That’s the difference.
  18. Longenhagen if Fangraphs has them at 13. Kiley will have them 12. MLB Pipeline will have them middle of the pack. Baseball America is the highest in the industry on Noah Schultz. It makes plenty of sense. You just have no idea what you’re talking about
  19. People believe lots of stuff that isn’t true. You’re entitled to do the same. The White Sox system is absolutely in the 12-16 range right now though.
  20. I wrote about the trade here: https://soxmachine.com/2023/08/white-sox-acquire-two-young-pitchers-for-international-bonus-pool-space/
  21. Seth Keener made his debut in the ACL with a scoreless inning and one strikeout. Christian Oppor debuted in the 2nd and struck out the side.
