Updated MLB Pipeline Top 100/Team Top 30
Chicago White Sox replied to Jose Abreu's topic in FutureSox Board
That’s my hope as well. Let’s give him an offseason to adjust his swing before we all panic. -
Blue Jays Trade Roberto Osuna to Astros
Chicago White Sox replied to wrathofhahn's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Seems like the Blue Jays did real well here given the circumstances. -
Impressive that Duvall has triple the WAR with triple the playing time! Isn’t misusing counting stats fun?!
-
What exactly is your complaint here? I’m not sure what he said that draws your hate.

lol...Hitler, Stalin, KW

Lol...that should hold him down until April mid of next year!
-
Because of one bad night? His wRC+ is like in the top three in the entire league and he’s actually age appropriate. I’m far more worried about his ability to stick behind the plate based on the most recent scouting reports.
-
As crazy as it sounds, I expect more than a .830 OPS from Eloy with the juiced ball.

Jimenez one hit away from that final “hit .400 in AAA” checkbox!

Rough night for Collins & Basabe.

The real question is what goober keeps applauding his male chauvinism posts.

Wow, thank god for bad base running or Cease would have given up a run or two that inning.
-
I think those guys are overworked or something, because I normally find myself aligned with their views for the most part, but their Sox top prospects list was outdated and quite frankly embarrassing. Cease has serious fucking helium and all you need to do is watch him pitch to see it.
-
I just don’t see how Hahn can keep him down. Even with Kris Bryant the kid was K’ing 30% of the time. Jimenez has simply been too good for this “hasn’t checked off all boxes” comment to hold weight much longer.

Do the Sox have the clear #1 farm system in the mlb?
Chicago White Sox replied to ron883's topic in Pale Hose Talk
The Sox farm is having a bad year? The injuries have sucked, but overall this has been a fantastic year. The only guy who has really fallen off is Hansen and it’s way too early to write him off. The Sox are clearly top three with the Padres & Braves IMO. -
If the Rays are demanding Tatis or Gore, I would definitely position Rodon as a slightly cheaper alternative. Would still require a haul and a couple of their next tier of prospects.

Long term trend: MiLB relievers
Chicago White Sox replied to southsider2k5's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Burdi, Hamilton, & Johnson all have incredibly high ceilings. Those are the guys to watch to see if the strategy works. -
I still think the Sox make two moves before the trade deadline. One will be a trade of Avilan or Cedeno for a middling prospect. The second will be a bit of a surprise move. That could be any of Abreu, Avi, Leury, Carlos, Fry, or Rodon getting traded.

Do the Sox have the clear #1 farm system in the mlb?
Chicago White Sox replied to ron883's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I’d say we’re top three without question, hard to say we’re better than the Padres though. -
Lol...my thoughts exactly, not sure I’d trade him to Cubs for that kid though.
-
#WhiteSox have 3 lefties the Cubs have been looking at. Avilan, Cedeno and Fry. However no word yet on trade partner. Speculation from earlier in the week.
-
At this point you almost hope it’s injury related.
