The fact he can play 2B & OF is interesting, but how is he defense at 2B and RF specifically? I haven’t seen him much in the field, but advanced metrics don’t appear to love his defense.

Bell’s bat would be nice, but I don’t see the fit position wise. His cost will be interesting to monitor as he is a legit impact bat, albeit a rental with limited defensive utility.

I’d love to see how this offense would do under a different hitting coach. No doubt we’d still struggle some against tough RHP, but I’m certain we’d hit more HRs and likely see more disciplined approaches.
