Jimenez has already been ruled out for the next series? I didn’t even realize he had officially been ruled out of today’s game And who said we’d be the favorites against the Yankees? Saying it’s not impossible for us to beat them is not suggesting we automatically will. Meanwhile, you’ve already written off any chance we have against them. See the difference?

Kid still has a 3.99 FIP on the season. Yes, he dominated some bad teams, but he’s also a rookie recovering from TJS. I’ll take my chances with him at least once through their order.

Yeah, we’ve experienced worst playoff series than this as Sox fans no matter what happens tomorrow. And we could be Twins or Blue Jays fans right now. That being said, let’s win tomorrow and give ourselves another series!

If we’re punting this game and going with a bullpen tomorrow sure, but I would have tried to get another inning out of Keuchel if that were the case.

LaStella would have been fantastic, but he didn’t come cheap exactly and he’s probably more than what we needed. We just needed bat only who could have been a better than league average hitter. Honestly, I’m confident that both Collins (against RHP) & Mercedes would have fit the billing we enough lead time.
