Randomly got the urge to watch "Sudden Death" with JCVD so I went to the netflix website thinking that it might be one that you can watch instantly, but no they don't even have it on dvd. Bummer.

  7. I'm going to the Hurricanes-Penguins game on Thursday night while I'm on spring break down in Raleigh. Should be good to see Crosby and Malkin live.

  12. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Mar 2, 2010 -> 09:40 AM) For those who need motivation to drive their car off a bridge, just saw a commercial last night that Glenn Beck is now on WIND 560AM. I saw this last night too and I seriously thought about tuning in just to get a laugh but sports radio won out in the end.
  13. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 27, 2010 -> 03:10 PM) Can you imagine a city police force driving a fleet of Toyota Priuses? One bank robber in a Corvette would tear the place apart. Haha the Campus Police at NIU have Priuses.
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 22, 2010 -> 01:15 PM) If John Shuster wasn't such a suckfest, there would be more to talk about, but he blew any chance they had for a medal. It was good to see the kid nail the winner vs. Sweden on Saturday. As for the women's curling, I think the Danish team has been the easiest on the eyes so far. Oh, and big props to our guy Eddie Olczyk for the quote of the Games last night. "This game has been tremendously tremendous!" Definitely would have to agree with you on that one.
  15. QUOTE (daggins @ Feb 19, 2010 -> 03:15 AM) Pequod's - Too bready for me to really love but they melt cheese over the edge crust in a way that is really tasty. Pequod's is amazing it's one of my favorites!
  16. I did get hit with the bases loaded, the other coach was screaming that I didn't move, which I didn't, but I still was awarded first and we won. I was also on a team that won two championships with a starting rotation of me, another kid, and Michael Bowden, who is now a top prospect for the Red Sox. He got called up a couple of times in the last few years, in fact I think he made a late season start against the Sox two years ago.
  17. Is it just me or does the cauldron look like Superman's Fortress of Solitude set on fire?

  21. That may be one of the most horrid things I have ever seen. Why would you try and sing a song about Chicago with stuff in it about beings a Vikings fan? They may have the worst allegiances ever. Vikings and Cubs?
  22. So I was flipping around the TV and it landed on CSPAN and they have the National Tea Party Convention on with Joseph Farah the founder of WorldNetDaily speaking. Why does everything anybody does have to be a conspiracy to the tea party people?

So I think that I like every iteration of Robin Hood that they have put on film, from "Prince of Thieves" with Costner to "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" to the Disney cartoon version and the Errol Flynn version from 1938 that I watched on TMC tonight. It's safe to say that I will like the Russell Crowe version this year as well. PS I watched two very good documentaries tonight "King of Kong" and "Food Inc." both were very good looks at very different topics, competitive Donkey Kong and the American food industry. Food Inc really opens my eyes along with the documentary "King Corn" about what really goes into the food that we eat every day. I would suggest either one to anyone.
