QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 08:14 PM) If I were Miami, I'd be happy with David Lee this year and Carmelo next year, along with a top 4 pick this year. if melo takes the deal Denver has out on the table for him then there goes that plan....

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 08:07 PM) Bah...Miami isn't in the same "Screwed" shape that the Bulls are in if they don't land anyone. Miami can use their cap space this year to sign 1 year deal guys to fill out a roster and either trade them midseason to stockpile wanted pieces or to keep their cap space available for the future. The Bulls are screwed starting next year because they have to take a portion of their cap space and use it to extend Noah this summer and Rose next year (assuming a CBA comes about), so they can't hold on to their cap space. true but miami depleted their roster trying to get 3 max slots and i dont see a free agent market that will be like this years for awhile so even if they save their cap space for next yr they still wont be nearly as good if they struck the gold mine this yr

i have a feeling miami is going to be left a big goose egg....they focused too much on the other free agents and not enough on keeping wade IMO

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:56 PM) A LeBron/PF (Bosh, Boozer, Lee) is still a better to me. Plus, if the LeBron meeting went as well as it appears, then perhaps you get them to play against each other. in a perfect world lebron and anyone is better but if they have a feeling he's not coming and there are 2 commitments on the table for wade/bosh then you HAVE to do that it's not like they are chopped liver...they are the 2nd and 3rd best free agents out there
-
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:54 PM) f*** it...if we can get Bosh/Wade, you do it. We still walk away favorites if that happens. Please let it be true...please please please!!! exactly if he wants to stay with cleveland or go help new jersey rebuild be my guest it just shows his desire to win isnt as strong as everyone thought

QUOTE (kev211 @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:47 PM) Wed have more money to spend with Lebron, and we wouldnt lose Deng so you'd have to factor that in too. But if Wade and Bosh want to commit you absolutely say yes and forget about Lebron. i consider deng being gone as a plus.... we are what 4 mill short of 2 max contracts....we deal deng get bosh in a sign and trade...what does this leave us with cap wise?

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 07:37 PM) Rose-Wade-Bosh-Noah is a force! i honestly think we fare better with wade/bosh over just lebron
-
jgoff670: Sources are telling me Wade-Bosh package imminent in Chicago. lets just get it done!

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 04:30 PM) The fact that LeBron didn't make a statement to the fans like people said he was earlier today has to bode well for the Bulls (and the other teams I suppose minus Cleveland). they misread chicagobreaking sports....noone ever came out saying he was going to speak with the fans that i kno of

QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 04:20 PM) I think they said Cleveland had a near 3 hr session with LBJ as well. their meeting was an hour and 1/2
-
QUOTE (kev211 @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 04:09 PM) Just waiting for the tweet from someone. "Lebron has left with the bulls." how awesome would that be? i have been thinking this for awhile that would be insane
-
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 03:58 PM) While the brass didn't look super happy,, they didn't look like their dreams were crushed either. Hell, Gar (I think it's him) is on the phone. JR just seems miffed at the cameras. the meeting is still ongoing that was b4 the meeting
-
QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 03:56 PM) Ah I thought it was already over with the tweet about the escalades... maybe they thought the meeting was over and next thing u know lebron was like wait...lets do this haha....

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 01:23 PM) Wow, a heat writer finally acknowledging his interest in the Bulls is real... "At the end of the day, your decision goes on what's best for you and your family," he said. "I think that the organizations I've been brought in to meet with are all good organizations. And all can add something to my life, and not just basketball-wise. "I understand that if myself and another guy and we have some good players around, we'll be good. To me it's about what makes forty years of my life and not just about the next ten." That could tie Wade's decision to his family being based in Chicago, his hometown. "This is the place where my vision of becoming an NBA player came true," he said. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- that part of the article makes me believe he's leaning towards chicago

IraHeatBeat: Dwyane Wade is talking again, and he is sounding like a player truly conflicted with the Heat-or-Bulls decision. http://bit.ly/9YXyEa im glad he is truly considering the offer
-
QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 12:33 PM) The score just reported that LBJ is going to address the crowd after he meets with the bulls, no word on what he is supposed to say. hmm i wonder why noone else is running with this...
-
does anyone know how the meeting with bosh went? i noticed he didnt mention it in his tweets
-
QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 12:21 PM) None of the writers on Athomeboy's twitter list have mentioned this, I'm not sure . . . but I don't believe this. i agree i've been looking all over for this and the only thing i can find is cleveland telling the fans to come back when LB leaves....i havent seen anywhere on the web where it's talking about he's going to address the fans
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 3, 2010 -> 12:06 PM) sounds like LeBron might announce he's staying in Cleveland to all of the fans around 4PM today, as being speculated on the radio. hopefully its to tell the fans of cleveland he's had a great time but i just agreed to terms with bulls management
-
IraHeatBeat: Spoke with an agent who is very tuned in. He laughed off Wade departure concerns. "It's all a smokescreen," the reputable agent said. at this point i dont believe anything miami beat writers are saying right now....seems to me they are grasping at straws
-
PDcavsinsider: There are hundreds of Cavs fans in downtown with team-provided signs lining street to meeting. Outside building fans chanting "Noah sucks" found this to be interesting haha
-
IraHeatBeat: Wade in his words: "It's going to take the weekend for everyone to think about what they want to do. This is not an easy decision to make."
