idk i dont have a good feeling about this.....idk what to think anymore one minute we are on the verge of signing him and then the next we are pulling our offer so who knows.....i just cant see KW pulling it off the table "if" they were that close to signing Damon

and to think i was all ready to buy a johnny damon jersey....

wow it's going to go on 1500 posts before we'll get an answer

im going to a hockey game tonight so of course he'll sign with someone during that time just because i'll have no way of finding out until afterwards

the sox website is even reporting that they could be the front runners now

JR must be pretty busy tonight with John Salmons trade talks along with the Damon rumors hopefully he puts a little more into the Damon deal so we can stop the waiting game

QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 17, 2010 -> 07:14 PM) No one misses Magglio. JD washed him out of my memory pretty quick although i'd want him to have one last AB just so i can hear oooo eeeeee ooooo one more time

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 17, 2010 -> 06:50 PM) Until I'm proven wrong or Damon is signed, I'm expecting him to be the primary DH. hahaha it wouldnt suprise me at all if this was the case

im gonna throw a name out there since my first thought has been said with Carlos Lee but the 2005 version of Iguchi was awesome

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Feb 17, 2010 -> 06:35 PM) Cowley has an interview with AJ, and a nice quote. "I would be surprised if he didn't sign with us,'' one member of the club said" http://blogs.suntimes.com/whitesox/2010/02...ut_all_thi.html lets get it done KW! the lineup would look soo much nicer with Damon penciled in there everyday rather than the trio of Andruw Jones, Kotsay, and Vizquel at DH.

i didnt do it last yr but im down for this year. Also im interested in being a commish.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 7, 2010 -> 08:57 PM) You're currently in fifth. That's to be expected with that name. My creativity wasn't that great that day I suppose.....

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Feb 7, 2010 -> 12:07 AM) Can someone enlighten me to why Ranger is running away with this one? I'm not sure I recall anything he's written. i guess i didn't campaign hard enough

ya know im an NFC kind of guy but gotta go with the Colts on this one.....35-24 Colts

Who cares let them go to florida and have them tax those teams to build a facility there for them. They wouldn't hurt my feelings any if they move its spring training. The sox would probably be better off without them around anyways.

buehrle he deserves it after anchoring the rotation for as long as he has either way you can't complain

i normally agree with ozzie but this idea of a rotating DH is a load of crap

well this is good to hear....i spose it can't hurt any if he is in good shape...thats what ozzie wanted

just saw this and all i can say is wow.........lets pray nothing happens to AJ this season

he just admitted to using HGH as well on MLB Network's interview

QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Dec 17, 2009 -> 09:12 PM) http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/basebal...ticleid=1219502 Not likely to happen between Bos and SD right now. Apparently. i saw this hmm KW needs to jump on it!

i think we need one more bat and we will have a well-balanced ballclub....i think the way we are positioned right now we have a shot of winning the division but after that i dont know and i hope ozzie doesnt plan on playing the aging vets on a regular basis

QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ Dec 16, 2009 -> 04:54 PM) He also was a pretty big part in getting us to the playoffs a couple years back....oddly enough yeah unfortunately last year just left such a bad taste in my mouth i have to include him lol

im really surprised dwise isn't being hung out to dry here in this thread......

QUOTE (monomach @ Dec 15, 2009 -> 07:59 PM) Pods had one more CS in 162 more PAs. Besides, saying that someone is better than Pods is not saying all that much. Scott Podsednik could possibly be the most overrated Sox ever. Well, other than Rowand, that is. your crazy dude scotty pods carried this team on his back for parts of last year pierre had just as many steals as him in less action overall i think we dont lose anything by trading for him and i think it will turn out to be a good move for us overall
