Agreed, and there is still growth that we are witnessing. As a bonus, he has fun and is demonstrative when he plays. I love when he gets under the skin of the fun police.

I'm not a podcast guy, but if anyone is and this has anything noteworthy, feel free to post it. With the mentions of Missouri and UNLV, they certainly are talking about Misner and Stott.

A few college bats have helium right now. Familiarize yourself with Kameron Misner, Josh Jung, and Bryson Stott first and foremost. JJ Bleday's stock is up too. I feel he's less likely to be in the top 5 mix though. As far as Stinson goes, his stock is actually pretty down. The big question with him was going to be how he transitions into a full time starter. The numbers aren't awful, but he's been sitting in the high 80's with the fastball which isn't a good sign. Nick Lodolo might be the best pitcher to keep an eye on. He was lights out last week. If he keeps it up he will be the first college pitcher off the board. Yea. The need and fit is evident. 1B will be open. He shouldn't need tons of development time. The hit and power tools aren't in question. The batting eye is extremely sexy. Lord knows the Sox need some high OBP players. He wouldn't be a reach at #3 either. Also, an aside. I know scouts think he's pretty much 1B only, but in the recent Baseball America article, Vaughn expresses confidence in the ability to play a 3B or OF. Probably a small chance that happens, but might be worth mentioning.

I'm in love with Vaughn right now. But I'm not sure it's love love, or just the comfort that he's probably the least fuck-up-able from a player development standpoint (Assuming Adley is gone).

I haven't heard/read any intel yet on KC. Probably because it's so early still. At this point, looking at draft tendency/trends might be our best bet if we are trying to glean something.

Good call. I'll use this opportunity to post BA's Bleday scouting report. This has probably changed some considering the rise in stock, as it was posted on January 25th.

If the Sox are "forced" into one of Witt/Abrams, for the love of god please take the one who has a better hit tool (Abrams at this point?). That's one area I simply have no confidence in as far as player development goes.
