Starting this way too early 2027 draft thread to stake ownership. 🙂 Baseball America has also posted a way too early mock for the 2027 class. It includes the top 10 picks. You will notice the White Sox are not a part of that. Let's hope it stays that way for the foreseeable future. Even if it means less draft fun.

This is another guy who might be in the bullpen sooner rather than later.

Via BA.

And with that I now go sink into Post Draft/All-Star Break depression. 🫠

Fennell is a fun funky guy. If they can somehow get that velocity up I'm paying more attention for sure.

Lol.

Final pick of the draft for the White Sox is Connor Fennell RHP from Vandy. 213 on O-S. 274 on BA.

Seems to be a SS. The draft tracker doesn't seem to know his position lol.

Mariners gonna try for Santarelli it seems.

White Sox select Jackson Bergman, RHP from Indiana.

I feel like Prosek might get more than Thome.

I feel like they are gonna have a massive sit-down with all these huge power dudes to discuss swing decisions.

White Sox select Crew McChesney OF from BYU.
