They can bring Coats up cuz there is plenty of room on the 40 man. Only 37 now, I believe. But they would bring up Shuck first, unfortunately. I would love to see Coats in action.

Sox missed their chances last off season. They could have had Dickerson, IMO. Boston, with its sxxtload of prospects, was ripe for a starting pitcher before they signed Price.

I think we have a problem. I know that Sands' two late game mis-plays were initially caused by poor throws from Frazier, but still, most full time starting first basemen would have made those plays. And, yes, Sands did recover and make a nice throw to second to get Trout. But when Abreu sits, defense suffers. Plus we needa left handed bat. When does Ishikawa get recalled from Charlotte?
