Wrong.

Pitchers Kay, Costillo, Newcomb, and Richards cannot be trusted to pitch in any meaningful game. Unfortunately, I have no solutions, other that to put Thorpe on the roster.

That sound you hear is the Seattle GM laughing at Getz.

Just the reverse of Kay. Another bad game.

Barry Bonds had enough armor everywhere.

Venable wants to make the game close.

Absolutely.

What a great catch by G.

Oh, come on. You can be both a jerk and a bad umpire without the racial overtones that you imagined.

Madrigal was sent back down to AAA after 10 days or so with Tampa. He actually had a few hits while filling in for injured shortstop.

Watch out for both Cags and Pasqui. Witt always dangerous. Perez too.

Good night ladies.

Hicks was not gonna get that third out.

Hicks running out of gas already.

Boston signed Moncada to about the same deal.

Plus, they have what I believe is the record amount for signing Latin American/Cuban players when they signed Luis Robert. This was in the old days before the current method of signing prospects. I believe the amount was close to $25 Million plus a penalty of another 15 or so.

Hagen Smith has been pleasant surprise.

Manny Machado hitting in the .230's.

Here we go again.

You know a base hit is coming.

At least he makes routine plays at short, but you are right.

I'm still shaking my head at Sam's 9th misplay Tuesday with 2 outs and 2 on.

Colson and Mune coached by the same guy.

And, they don't deserve it.

Yep. Took Doyle out of game. Had to leave Sam in. Manager cost the game. Does Getz say anything to him?
