I see that Wolkow is 4 for 4, all K's. About a month ago I heard some guy on MLBN say that if a guy has a severe strikeout problem in the minors, he hardly ever would stick as a major leaguer. Paraphrasing. I tried to come up with an exception to that. I'm sure there are a few.

I get real tired of Hot Dogs like the Seattle LF, who just has to show up the pitcher whenever he hits one out. I know young guys like it, but there are a lot of great players in the Hall who would never have pulled that s%*#. Ryne Sandberg is one.

Hey, Spider, I'm not saying it's an issue with me. I'm just surprised the Players Association never brought this up. You know, a few dozen players being tossed around in the middle of the season at the whim of the teams, upsetting the wives, etc. Maybe it has been secretly brought up, and there already is a quid pro quo.
