His rebounding is still good and while god knows I haven't watched any Kings basketball, Gentry was praising him for defensive effort this season. His advanced defensive numbers are about as good as you can get on a team like the Kings. Holmes is definitely a better target for this season, but he's on a 4 year deal at age 28 while Bagley expires and if he works out, would probably be dirt cheap to both acquire and re-sign. I'm not saying you do it, but just curious on thoughts.

Yeah, ever since the Schroeder/Poeltl rumors emerged, they make so much sense. This becomes your top 11 when healthy: Lonzo/Schroeder LaVine/Ayo DeMar/Caruso DDJ/Javonte/Williams (being brought back slowly) Vuc/Poeltl Problem is, you essentially need to turn Coby, Brown, and very limited picks into Poeltl and Schroeder. That's a tall order. With McKinnie, Hill, Thomas, Cook, and Bradley as depth, assuming none are traded. Vuc and DeMar get much needed rest and there's plenty of defense.
